Wasnt there a game down somewhere in the cities, I think around x-mas time where the team played one period, the ref's werent calling penalties, so the team didnt even come out for the rest of the game and left for home? Or was that just another rumor? This happened.... On a side note, I agree with...

Re: swearing

MSHSL has strict guidelines for all to follow. Teachers, custodians, bus drivers, kitchen helpers, all must follow a school code of ethics. Highschool sanctioned games should be following the same guidelines for Refs. If a coach was to swear at the ref, I am sure a bench penalty would occur. If a p...

Re: Reporting Unprofessional Refs

I attended the Mankato West v.s. Roch. Mayo game on Saturday and aside of the fact that the refs wanted to be the center of attention and kept stopping play (I can't wait until Pointstreak posts the boxscore, 20 plus penalties.) The ref swore at the kids as they were coming into the face-off circle...

If your kid don't have the skills to begin with - Like great skater, good juggler, great athelete, Eye hand coordination - Don't put him nets. you seem like the type of person to say "goaltending cant be that hard, all you do is stand in a net, you dont even skate." 98% of the tenders gam...

I think PR will take Crox...the game is at the Ted O. and the Panthers know it is a huge game to hold on to the 2nd seed in the section...Panther crowd will be loud and the boys will feed from that as they did against TRF...PR will come to play and dominate from the 1st shift on...ill say PR 5 Crox...

Fort has a 29-7 record. The Fort has played a few teams tougher than the Falls - so records do not mean much here. I think this one could go either way. Should be alot closer than the 4-0 score last time. Edge to the Fort by one goal. Fort by 2 or 3 with EN... Fort is a tough team and they will do ...

what about going back to a single tourney and having 16 teams in it? same problem as I wrote above. You would definitely get rid of alot of programs that are attempting to stay alive. Granted, they may fade eventually anyway. You still cannot help them disintegrate, let the 2 class system work itse...

seems as tho Frazee is the one playing D1 college hockey now isnt he? just because he isnt up to performance, doesnt mean that he "sucks" there are way more spots for a player to make it in college hockey, and a lot less for a goaltender, so it seems as tho Stauber did an EXCELLENT job wi...

How would you set up rankings for sections and award conference winners? How would you set up the rankings for state as some teams dont play each other and now would have no common opponents... This would truly ruin the 2 class idea that was put together by the coaches. Some A teams can compete with...

In the end a coach is only as good as his record. Like it or not a coach will only be judged by his wins. The sad part is this is what most associations look for and work towards. It is sad how developing players has slipped most board members heads, they have talked about winning district champion...

Re: Not really impressed with Rosemount

Good goaltender, but the rest of the team in average. Brown is a hack, only looking only to enhance his points in the conference. Please play some team defense to prove you are a D-1 player. If Eastviews goalie plays well and Eastview can shoot and score. This will be a tight one, but Eastview wins...

Re: Park Rapids

Who really cares. Play somebody important I would say EGF and TRF are pretty important and they have won both of those games. Those games were pretty much for the #2 seed and they prevailed. The real question is can they win when it counts. It would be nice to see somebody not wearing black and gol...
