WHEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pretty good third period for the gophers. It didn't look like the gophers wanted to play in the first two periods, and Briggs was a little shaky in the first. he was out of position numerous times, but he played great when it all mattered. the third period (last 2 minutes).
Gotta give some credit to the Air Force team coming out scoring the first goal and playing better than the gophers in the first two periods, and the start of the third.
Then the Gophers realized they needed too start scoring or it was going to be another early exit from the NCAA Tournament, and it would have been losing to a 4 seed.
The gophers knew they had to come out hard and clinch the win in the first period or two. Unfortunately thats not what happened, but they ended the game with a W, after a meraculous third period with 3 unanswered goals.
