Just wondering.........my daughter is playing in the fall league on a U12A team and I just found out the team she played last night is a U14 team with high school players on it. They had two U14 teams sign up that they didn't have anywhere else to put so they put them in U12A. Is this normal? This is our first experience with Showcase.
Thanks

Nope, this is normal for Showcase. It has been my experience they often have mix ups in their scheduling.PRHockey wrote:Just wondering.........my daughter is playing in the fall league on a U12A team and I just found out the team she played last night is a U14 team with high school players on it. Showcase
PR, I would not get too spun up about it. Showcase should be looked at as a prep for winter hockey. If your girls are getting time and space taken away by bigger stronger faster girls it is good for them to br forced to play at a higher level. Use it as a good preperation scrimmage and the girls can actually learn a lot from that type of game. As long as the staff at Showcase let you know ahead of time use the game to your kids advantage.
