I don't understand how Roseau won last night. Moorhead's regular season schedule was much tougher.packerboy wrote:Its a bleeping fact. Its not subject to debate. They do not play a difficult schedule. End of discussion. I dont care why they dont play a tough schedule, they dont.
Now, what does that mean?
I dont think the Rams should necessarily be punished for it and not seeded, but they shpuldn't get a pass on it either.

As a "Citiot" and an Edina pimp, many of us have great respect for the north some may even call it envy.watchdog wrote:and give the north some respect.
My experience leads me to believe that, year in - year out, great hockey is played up north.

There is absolutely no way Roseau will not be seeded #1, even Cake Eaters know as much.

Packerboy, Roseau didn't play the hardest schedule. Doesn't matter, they're obviously very good.
Maybe they will lose in St. Paul, but if "Cindy Crawford is beautiful" is a fact so is "Roseau has a great HS hockey team" this season.
Still planning on seeing an Edina-Roseau final. Enough wondering has been done on who would win a game between the two. Wouldn't it be nice to know?

I know O-Town is very aware of how good Roseau is. And he knows that I do also. They very well could be the best team in the state. But were talking about whats been proven here, and not because "watchdog or BIAFP says". To say Roseau is #1 is an opinion, and its arguable due to a less than stellar SOS. And one thing I know about packerboy is that if its arguable, he will argue it.
It just so happens I agree with him.

The only soft spot I see is the one between my legs

"Roseau is #1" does not equal "Roseau is the #1 seed". They are the #1 seed. What is this thread about?
The discussions on Roseau and their schedule or perceived weaknesses belong on the "Who will win state?" threads.

Just curious, from those involved in the discussion, how many have seen Roseau or any of the teams on Roseau's schedule play?

You are right Neut but all seriousness aside, I am not saying Roseau shouldnt be #1 just to be difficult or argue something. I really dont believe that they deserve it.Neutron 14 wrote:I know O-Town is very aware of how good Roseau is. And he knows that I do also. They very well could be the best team in the state. If Edinas was 19-6 or something, fine but they lose 2 games by one goal each to BSM and Tonka and so that puts them at #2 because Roseau is undefeated with that schedule. Bullship.
In all honesty, they finished on top last season and haven't lost since - it's hard to argue against them being #1. They've earned it... Doesn't mean it's not fun just to get the Rams' faithful riled up though!packerboy wrote:You are right Neut but all seriousness aside, I am not saying Roseau shouldnt be #1 just to be difficult or argue something. I've seen Roseau twice and found them to be very, very dangerous looking at it from an Edina point of view.AngusYoung wrote:Cindy's no prize...O-townClown wrote:Three hundred sixty-four thousand, seven hundred and eleven if you include Girls Tennis.packerboy wrote:

I have never been to a HS hockey seeding meeting but I have talked to guys that have. How a team did last year was never discussed as a critera. Is it?
