Edina-4
Chaska-3
Edina clinches seed to East Region. Plays Burnsville tomorrow for the D6 playoff title and the #1 seed to region (needs two wins).

Thanks for the report Fred. I know you've sold Edina short all season. After the loss to Chaska a few days ago I'm sure you were wondering if all your porsts would prove prophetic.

Surprised at all?

I don't know how regions work like you do, but I'll take Edina to reach state. The seeding out of districts shouldn't matter. They've cleared the high hurdle.

Not as close as the score
Edina was in the box all night CC had 2 or 3 5 on 3s and did not put it away. Edina got a shorty Jungles and Nanne came up big.

Chaska battled hard but had a few defensive breakdowns in the neutral zone and couldn't their PP working. Great, hard played game between 2 very good teams. It is too bad Chaska's season is over, they are still one of the top teams I've seen in Pee Wee hockey.

Thanks! They were down 3-1 with about 4 minutes to go. Scored two to tie, went to overtime and the boys did it. Fifth times the charm I guess when it came to Moundsview.

It was a very good game Blaine's biggest lead was 2 goals and wayzata tied at the end of the second then Blaine was up 6-5 going into the third and they scored twice and then wayzata got one with 1:30 seconds left with a pulled goalie but couldnt get another one in time.
