According to the hub, it's 10-1 Minnetonka over Hopkins at the end of 2. Looks like they're coming off their tie with Wayzata pretty well.

I think Tonka is looking to run the table to end the season as they want to send a msg as Urick was not happy with the effort at Wayzata.

I'm looking forward to the rematch at Pagel.

Final

Tonka - 11
Hopkins - 1

Here's an interesting stat as I see that Tonka scored another shorthanded goal tonight, I believe Tonka is a +2 on the penalty kill which means they outscored their opponents by 2 when Tonka is shorthanded.

Interesting, has this ever happened before?

Here's another stat I just found, Minnetonka is now outscoring their opponents on the season by a +100 margin, 126 goals for and only 26 against.

How does this change anything about Hill's section?

The first time they played Hill won by 2 with an EN goal. All knew this game would be close.

And you won't find a single Tonka player in the top 50 (A & AA) for scoring. Prior to tonight Derek Frawley was their leading scoring and 65th in the state, but he was a +45.

STA 3, HM 1

Not a surprise. STA is a very good hockey team and is on a 10 game winning streak. Only losses are to Minnetonka twice, Blaine & HM. Hill-Murray was without Kevin Becker & Charlie Sampair, 2 of their top 5 scorers. They lack a big scorer in the first place. They played an emotional and very physical game 2 nights ago against Mahtomedi. Congrats to STA. Looks like it could be a co-championship in the CSC. Although HM still has Tartan & North and STA has Mahtomedi left to play. Tartan, North & Mahtomedi are not gimmies.

Tough night for the Pioneers. They were outplayed and lost every little battle. Hill looked beat up & tired and lost French (not sure how serious).
