At this point in the season this section appears weak. The two best teams are Hibbing and Duluth Marshall. Each have a couple of good wins. But whenever they played a quality team they have been easily beaten. Virginia is a big disappointment. They got hammered by a good team (Rapids) and beaten by an average AA school (Roseville) and barely beat a below average AA (Hopkins) after being badly outshot. Does anyone have any thoughts as to what is Virginia's problem(s)? The Falls could come around by tournament time.

Virginia and Hibbing are probably 3 & 4.
I Falls getting blasted by Proctor (even with the back-up goalie), puts them at #5.

Of course, a long way to go for all involved.

Eveleth has 19 seniors this year so I would say their numbers are up and they will be a dark horse for sure
