They are 2-0. They beat Sartell in their opener 3-1, and River Lakes in their second game 6-3.

I haven't seen them play. Based on scores alone, i'd say average at best.
2A

Went to the Sartell game. Sartell had two defence break downs where just taking the body instead of focusing on the puck. Like most kids do they get neither the puck or body. They finsihed those two solo plays with goals.
Those Two good goals for SCC made the diference.
Sartell look to have allot spirt in the Third. Keep that pace will make teams work or there victor.
SCC looks on paper and in my mind that they should have done better than they did .

Don't expect much from them. They have an 8th grader on their starting line. They probably will loose in the Section Semifinals.

Yeah, they do have an 8th grader. But there is something about that 8th grader. He's probably a top 5 high school player in St. Cloud.

And oh yeah, Jordan Schroeder was an 8th grader last year and led his team to state.

You can say to not expect too much from them, but don't say its because of the 8th grader. Especially when that 8th grader is amazing.
2A

Didn't they say the same thing about Crandall when he was starting at D for SCC as an eighth grader too? The Schmidt kid is the real deal, as is Schroeder down south, and Jake Johnson up north. (I think he was a top player in the eighth grade, freshman for sure) Some of these young guns can really play.
