U18 National Camp Roster

The U18 roster was released today with a strong representation from MN.
Dani Cameranesi Blake
Kate Schipper Breck
Megan Wolfe Eagan
Christy Vetter Lakeville North
Taylor Williamson Edina
Amy Menke Shokapee
Sid Morin Minnetonka
Sid Baldwin Minnetonka

As a side note, this years Minnetonka team could have 7 players, 5 D and 2 goalies, with D1 offers.

With possibly more in the pipeline. Minnetonka's U14 A team won the state tournament this past year. Looks like the program remains strong for the near future anyways.

You don't need to name names, of course, but who's moving to Tonka from NWC?

Also, I think, Tonka would have 2F, 4D, and 2G with eventual D1 offers. Last I saw, they have 2F, 2D, and 1G with current offers. They only roster 4 D's normally, unless they're changing things up this season.

I think what they meant by off track is the title of the thread is U18 Roster, not Minnetonka kids going to play D1, kids transferring to Minnetonka, or weird parents who post that their kid is transferring (sorry a bit of a shot, but who does that?). Therefore it's people like me clicking to see news about the USA hockey U18 team see updates on Team Tonka, nobody is saying those aren't facts, well if you want to be technical, I would suggest you look up the definition of a fact. Qualifiers like "could" imply a possibility, not a fact. Rumors, unless confirmed by a parent, if that really is the parent, are just rumors until the first day of school.

My request would be move the tonka talk to it's own thread, and keep this one about the USA hockey U18 team. Pretty Please.

I agree with you all! This blog was about the National roster not Minnetonka. I am the "weirdo" who identified my daughter as being the one referred to as moving to Minnetonka. I was just reading along as I always do reading the hyper-sensitive comics of adult hockey parents when I happened upon a "rumor" about my 14 year old girl. Just thought I would end it and add some clarity because I have seen these sharks in the water before.

Now I will sit back and patiently wait to be attacked until this blog gets beat to death and ruins the subject!
