End of 2. North dominating not because they have a few elite players but because they have 3 lines worth of very good passers/puck possessors and make it very difficult for inferior teams to keep up with them when they are playing well. All those who were predicting 7-1ish scores…go ahead and pat yourselves on the back!

Are you saying Edina will be 1 because thats what you think WILL happen or SHOULD happen? Edina split with Hill, whom North beat 3-0, they lost to Burnsville whom North beat twice. I'm not arguing for North being #1 but I think those 3 are so equal it is tough to differentiate them. I do believe Edina will be voted the #1 seed though.
Nice crowd brought by Farmington. The atmosphere was really good as the building was nearly full.
Early on Farmington had some really good chances but were snakebit. If 1 or 2 of those go in it's a vary different hockey game. As the game wore on it was clear North's depth was a huge factor and Farmington couldn't match it so once it went to 3-0 it was pretty much over. Both teams are fairly young and are pretty much ahead of the rest of the section and I'd expect these same two teams to play for the section again. With Farmington moving into the South Suburban next year this should turn into a darn good rivalry.
It didn't make a difference it the outcome and the better team won but it seems each year Anderson refs a section championship game and each year he gets worse. The whole crew was bad and couldn't even figure out where to have a faceoff after calling a high stick...they missed icings and offsides both ways.....penalties were inconsistent at best. It's too big of a game to have that kind of crew.
Good luck to North at state

A little of both I suppose. I think it will happen that way, yes. Not sure if it should or not. In my opinion, LNs coaches should hope for a number 2 seed so they can relieve a little potential pressure and play the 'no respect' card.eagle4life9 wrote:Are you saying Edina will be 1 because thats what you think WILL happen or SHOULD happen? In my experience, it's preferable at State to have as little pressure as possible.
The City of Hill Murray is beautiful this time of year
