Let's be honest. This LVN team looks RIPE for the picking in sections. I'll be a little surprised if they make it downtown again.

While upsets in sections are always possible, you have to consider North to be the clear favorite to emerge out of 1AA.

"Ripe for the Picking"...... Not sure I agree with that!! The Farmington game on Saturday should shed light on North's first game of the year, ie just how good Farmington is..... Anything can happen in the sections but North is the CLEAR favorite to advance from section 1AA.

Just saw where Burnsville ripped Farmington 6-1 last night..... wonder which Farmington team will show up tomorrow?

Promised myself I would stay away from this thread for a while, and go see other best team pairings (see my post on Wayzata thread).

But I will reiterate 4 things again: no Panther games will be easy when everyone is chasing you. Secondly, to remind how hungry this team is lets not forget that 5 kids passed up juniors collectively to come back and get business done this year. Thirdly, they proved they can beat Edina, Hill and Duluth East teams (and coaches), that proof should dispose of most holdout doubters. Finally, I got my calendar marked to next see the Panther faithful at 4 pm February 14 at Shakopee Ice Arena for the historic game 25 win.

Should be interesting. Def thought Farmington would beat Burnsville. Hats off to the Blaze for going into Farmington and handing it to them.

Shots were 63-12 on the scoreboard.......still a heck of a lot of shots and the Shakopee goalie played well into the 3rd period but someone padded them by 8.

They were actually 67-12 on the scoreboard, but all game films are reviewed and SOG, +/-, goals, assists, etc are finalized by designated person from LN to make sure no mistakes were made, as we all know the clowns in the box are too busy eating hot dogs and refreshments from concession stand vs actually paying attention the game.

No padding black sqwuak :)

No they actually were 63 -12 on the scoreboard....the rest of what you said may be accurate, but your lack of maturity sure shows through.

If lack of maturity is what you wanna call it, lets go with it black sqwauk! I would rather have a lack of maturity then a lack of vision though, because scoreboard said 67-12 shots. Final answer. Its irrelevant though. Smile big guy.

I bet Tim P. is the designated guy. JK Sats. Hard to believe two people would argue this. Funny though.

I thought the signed score sheet by the ref's at the end of the game makes the game (score, shots, penalties, etc.) offical?

I've been to every game the last 2 years, Thanks for confirming what every parent and player already knew. Hockey hub stats are being changed and do not reflect the official score sheet signed or what was called on the ice by the referee. Changes are made 1-3 days after the game some times longer. Assists are removed, assists are added, shots always added. Its ironic the same 3-4 kids seem to be the benefactors of those added assists the referees missed??.

In the Juniors, College, NHL there is a process for changing stats, but and its controlled by the league, your not the league! Should we be calling you "Stats81" instead of Sats81?

Man. I knew the Poehlings stats were BS! All those mystery assists!

If your kid is good enough colleges will notice him Pal. You are worried about the wrong stuff clearly. I'm sure your son is a great team player though!

Stats, I think you need to go back and edit the Shakopee game again. Shots are now up to 85. At this pace we will hit 100 shots by Tuesday and 18 assists on 6 goals.

IMO does it really matter if the shots for Lakeville North were 60 or 80? If I'm the Shakopee goalie, I want the 80 number since it jump my save percentage big time........... :):) Anyway, stats are just that...... numbers....... they don't tell how much of a team player a skater is nor does it tell me if he/she backchecks, goes into the corners for the puck, etc.....

Lets get back to the topic......... now am not sure LN will lose another game going into sections. I hope they do as kind of a grounding type of game....... the way the team plays, they probably don't need this but it would just make me feel better........ :):)

LN & the perfect season

Post by blueblood »

There are two more legitimate teams that the Panthers must get through to attain the perfect 25-0-0 regular season record:

@ Burnsville on 1-22-15 - Lubbesmeyer could steal this one for the Blaze

@ Prior Lake on 2-5-15 - The Lakers are a gritty team that has the wherewithal to man up with the Panthers and knock them around and get them off their game. Plus playing on the slow ice on Dakotah! is not easy
