Is it going to matter????
Think the ole rule may be in play here?!?!
I agree, there is some extra motivation after the coaches behavior I think.
#1 Luverne over #8 Redwood Valley
#5 LDC over #4 Marshall
#3 New Ulm over #6 Willmar
#2 Hutchinson over #7 Morris Benson
Game of the Night
LDC @ Marshall- Should be a very good battle teams played to a 3-3 tie about 2 weeks ago. The Dragons are playing very good hockey of late and I think they win this one on the road.
They game of the night was in Luverne. Luverne's chances of winning the section are slim and none, and slim just left the building. Luverne has so many holes, they can't fill them fast enough. An average team will eat them alive on Saturday. I'm ready to get blasted, just my honest opinion.

55 shots on net.
hot goalie.
You're probably right. But slim is still in the doorway atleast.

Good thing for Luverne that the other 3A teams are below average..

Probably too quick of a reaction on my part, Luverne will have a chance, but not if they play the way they did tonight. Wow, it seems they have no chemistry right now?

Hot goalies happen in the playoffs. The ice was tiled and redwood capitalized on 2 odd man rushes.

I bet redwood pulled their goalie being it was a one goal game?

Oh, and by the way, they rwv goalie set a high school league record tonight for knocking the net off. But the biggest shocker of the night................rwv was unable to pull their goalie!
You fools, pay respect when it is due, if you should ever think you're deserved again, let alone to not ask for it but command it. I still hold respect for the boys that play, I have none for those that would but ride along to crap upon the rest.
Joe Stremcha has earned nothing but respect for the leadership he provided that group of young men. Those that would belittle him for it sadden me at the state of our 'most evolved species'.

Ummmm
Ole.......?!?!?
"There are two kinds of people, those that do the work,
And those that would take credit for it". I suppose you kids can rationalize yourself into the latter, but as voice for the latter, we would not feel your absence. And whether you have put in the work and these kids skill is somehow of your influence, than I am but more saddened you are not capable of imparting the true value this sport holds.

Thegoldenjet if your saying that Luverne players have not done the work you are the one sadly mistaken. These young men trained all summer to be the best in the Section. They have travel all over the state to become better. It not always easy to play with a target on your back. Redwood played well tonight and their goalie was extremely hot but Luverne still found a way to overcome all of that and win 4-3.
No one questioning that Joe has done a nice job at Redwood and next season should be another step for your program. I am assuming you are a Redwood persons enjoy your improvements it only helps make sSection 3A better..
Bottom-line everyone been saying the Section 3A is as even as it ever been. Saturday should have some very exciting games to watch. It will be interesting to see who advances. Tonight provide a chance for each team to move one step closer to their Goal.

Did you quickly pass over the part where I give due respect to the boys that play, in your haste to counter, which you reread and corrected so as to set an example for literacy? It is truly no wonder we are in debt to those who would commit themselves to being smarter than us. Hint* look up all Obamas fault and national debt.

Respect????? Thanks for giving your two cents Joe! Explain why one of your best players quit because of the coaches then? Daddy didn't play enough defense growing up?? Congrats on your bantam B runner up trophy last week well earned!!!
