No doubt ice time makes hockey players. Back in my day we played outside day & night for the love of the game. Then there was street hockey & shooting pucks into the mattress up in the old attic off the wooden floor. As a coach it is hard to be successful with players at peewee and above that lack fundamental skills. Moorhead seems to be a leader in this area as well as Roseau, Warroad & Baudette. I am looking for suggestions to get kids off their butts & to put more time in for the love of the game.
