Re: Cutler
Well Johnson will prolly have a heart attack out there and if they draft cutler and he has to play, it will be another espn highlight reel season like the beginning last year

Culpepper gone
I think he is gone because of the injury. Culpepper isnt going to be ready for camp. He might not be ready to play until November.

I dont thnk Childress wanted to start his tenure with that situation.

I think its that simple.

I also think it is interesting that they didnt get a better offer for him.

Re: Culpepper gone
I think a second round pick was a great offer for that shmuck.

Re: Culpepper gone
Can anyone name a single quarterback that has come back from major knee surgery to perform well?
This guy was VERY damaged goods. We were lucky to get a 2nd rounder for him.
Even if he can play, this year, his mobility (one of his previously strongest features) is gone. Plus, that knee is going to be ripe for being reinjured.
Daunte's glory days are over. (Much like Moss's were, when we traded him.)
It was a good run.........but it WAS time to move on.

Re: Culpepper gone
Culpepper getting hurt last year was just what the Vikings needed...its a good thing now that he is traded. he sucks during the season, gets hurt, then asks for more money....stupid. good trade
