Grandner and Herzog have to be a couple of champlin's most undisciplined players on the team. They both had multiple penalties in yesterdays game. Not only were they just minor penalties, but misconduct penalties. What a good captain Grandner is. No wonder the team acts how it does. No leadership at all.

boy u really know what ur talkin about ice breaker...location-elk river. Ur such an idiot how do u even know wat was said to the ref to get the penalty?? I'm not defending Grandner...but how'd do u know wat happened? Were u out there? Plus AHE is gonna be screwed with the new transfer rule anyways so in a couple years we'll actually be talking about talented teams that are home grown. Don't even make the argument how er's bantam "A" team is rated...and their bantam "B" team is also rated. Bcuz we all have seen that before and half the kids actually play on the varsity team. So im going to be glady awakened when AHE will actually be called ELK RIVER and have a "decent program"

Really the champlin players like herzog and grandner should be happy that brodhag is gone because for this season they won't have to sit in his shadow. They can get all the glory, if champlin actually has any glorified moments.

yea ur probably right...brodhag didn't pass at all his junior year unless it was to meyers, provos, or swan. Meyers and Brodhag played on the same line in bantams so im pretty sure Meyers wouldn't sit in his shadow. Herzog and Grandner were going to do fine this year even with Brodhag. Ur right they wouldn't get as much playing time, but they are both good players.

sit in his shadow? so brodhags a one man team that can do it all himself? every goal he got would be unassisted? no assists for grandner meyers of herzog? ya i bet

So now that brodhag is gone, these three on champlin must love having the scouts come only to watch them. Rumor is that this line is being scouted by the gophers.

alright...is this supposed to be a shot at me...i didn't really say anything about this line being godly. I just wanna state the facts that none of the boneheads from elk river know about.

No really, im sure the phone is ringing off the hook for these players and with all the pull and respect coach bailey has in mn state hockey im sure he gets lots of scouts to come watch his players.

Brodhag didn't grow up playing with most of these guys. He played in the Brooklyn Park association.
yeah and so did over half of the junior and sophmore class playing on the team.

Brodhag is a sellout, enough said. If you are going to leave you leave like Bauer to the USHL or the Fultons and Borers to private schools where everybody gets recruited. Not a team in the same confrence, that's a rat move. I hope him the best but he will never have another season like his 2nd year bantam one with the kids he grew up with.

He had a awesome 2nd year of bantams, but none of the kids that he benefited from that year even went to champlin. They went to BSM, Park Center, and Osseo. And really it is no ones business why Brodhag switched schools. Maybe it wasn't about hockey at all. Maybe moving has something to do with it. Seriously know one can talk about brodhag being a rat, when bailey was doing the same thing by trying to get burrelle from park center to come to champlin.

I'm almost positive he left because of something hockey related. And Burrell from what I heard just wanted to get out of Park Center for more reasons than just hockey. But I think he stayed back becasue Brodhag left. Not positive on those things but thats my take on it.

Maybe brodhag just wanted to get out of champlin too. At elk river the class sizes are much smaller, the school size is much smaller, and there is a lot less fighting and crime at elk river. If you want to stick with your belief that it was hockey related, im sure it had a lot to do with the coach. A hockey player like brodhag needs someone who is going to help him excel beyong hs hockey. Brodhag wasn't going to get better by being coached by coach bailey.

The game is over...let it go! You cannot sit back and say there is no leadership on the CP team..it is tough to play the majority of the game shorthanded...it had to get frustrating. Please do not put down kids you don't even know. Brodhag is gone for whatever reason...so what...the underclassmen have learned to play without him one year sooner..this may make CP stronger next year! If anyone watched these two teams shake hands at the end of the game you could see that they respect one another when all is said and done. Handshakes and hugs were exchanged between many of the players.

Good call, the series is over, CP got sweeped. But there is always next year and I think that the games will be a litle different on the score board. Who are AHEs Juniors and Sophmores? I only know of their Freshman, just because he is so young.

By the way Bailey had nothing to do with Burrell wanting to transfer. All of Burrells friends and teamates from Brooklyn Park play for Champlin now, maybe that had a little something to do with it?

Your the one bringing up state, I tried to end it earlier but then you came in with that comment. Based off of the game I just watched on FSN with Cloquet and DE, AHE won't even get to the section championship. Grow up buddy, games over.

Who are you to talk? You go to Champlin. Life's over.

i would like to just say one more thing regarding the fans. yes champlins fans were classless but if they are gonna be classless at least they are up front about it and dont hide behind some screen name on a message board
