Granted that is a pretty close score, I wouldn't look too much into it. Scores against bad opponents aren't that great for evaluating a team's potential.

Funny you're making that argument though since your Wildcats only beat a 2-22 Rosemount team by a score of 4-1 not even a week ago, a 4-17 PCG team by a score of 3-1 just over 2 weeks ago, and many other weak teams by only a couple goal margin throughout the season.
HHF,
You know better than that. They outshot them 55-18. Very similar to the games Roseauverrated is pointing out with the Widcats. Dominate but the score is not indicitive of the way they outplayed them.

Same concept applies with the LS game with Dodge county, goalie at one end gets hot , opposition starts pressing and makes a couple of poor decisions that end up in odd man rushes and before you know it the game is much closer than it should be. DC worked hard and their goalie was terrific. Shots I believe were recorded at 43 to 17 but it seemed the DC goalie saw more rubber than that.

Hey, at least they got 1 shot.
Roseauverrated, was the one shot on goal a quality shot for MPLS West?

Don't know, I wasn't at the game. My guess would be not though. Has anyone ever seen a game where the opponent didn't get a single shot on goal the whole game? I was kinda hoping it would happen tonight.

How did LS only beat DC by 2? Isnt LS ranked in the top 20? That would have been a huge upset if DC won, a number 9 almost beating a number 1 Wow :o

I was mostly just poking fun at the EP faithful, but I do know what you mean as far as dominating but the score not indicating it. But Eagan isnt really an offensive team, they work hard for their goals, EP would be considered more of an offensive team and to see them just put in 5 against a team like Armstrong (no disrespect) I am surprised. I dont think EP will get by Wazata however...Wayzata 5 EP 2

Going to quote myself cause I just saw that it was a final. Apparently Benilde had 32 shots in the third according to the hub. Is this legit? I find it just a little hard to believe!

Perhaps there's a reason they haven't don't it already, but maybe Mpls East and West should comibine at the varsity level.

Wow! KCC hasn't been in the section semifinals probably since the mid-80s as the Hallock Bears.

Classy.
Leave it to Keith Hendrickson...a man who whined and complained to anyone who would listen when Duluth East would beat Marshall by 20 in an effort to get out of the LSC and whined about East and later Marshall "recruiting" from the small schools. He gets a chance to show some compassion for a small school and what happens? 22-rip.

What goes around comes around...
Suntzu...I agree with you 100%!!! I was going to type out the same thing about coach Hendrickson...now that he has had some good teams the past years he'll run up the score any chance he gets.

Haven't seen it, but it has happened. I believe the shots were 66-0 or something like that in a Benilde-St. Francis game 2 years ago.

Dear HaplessHockeyFan,

You know nothing about EP, Armstrong or any team other than Eagan beyond what you read. Instead, consider the plight of your young Cats. While the section is weak, experience often rules the day. Lotsa luck!

After Zajac and Merchant eagan isn't that deep either. Looks like one line carried them against Rosemount.
