Based on previous experience in Moorhead in A Bantam Tourneys, the refs were great. Yes we did have a few younger guys but all games were very well officiated.
I thought even when mistakes were made, an honest effort to explain what happened was made.
I love taking teams to northern tournaments because there is a certain amount of adversity that can arise from different game styles and reffing, I think Moorhead did a great job of putting on another great tournament and our boys had a great time.
I was reluctant to go back there after some poor experiences in the past, but they have changed my mind and this is a trip I will make every year possible in the future.
