Still a ways to go before rosters are set at the junior level. There has always been a lot of movement with goalies. Not to often someone takes a non rankings shot at Karl.

Edquist's departure is zero surprise to anyone who'd been following that story.
What's funny is you karl, just like everyone else on here assuming, really knows NOTHING about the details of Edquist and this "decision".

"Other recruiting programs"?! I Forgot your beloved DE is the model for integrity.

Best of luck Ryan. First class kid.

Now let's assume old Sats is the best GM in HS hockey and will find his replacement quickly....that Kolquist kid have any HS eligibility left?
My, we're defensive this morning. It was a joke. See the little emoticon?

I won't claim to know everything about Edquist's decision, but I apparently knew more than some did.

There are a lot of names in that article to keep straight. In fact, I think they messed up when they wrote Nick would be in Aberdeen this year. I'm pretty sure they meant Jake.

In short, Cole, Chase, and Nick could all leave for Moose Jaw. I doubt that will happen. Jake graduated and will be in Aberdeen of the NAHL this season.

We'll keep an eye on it. Thanks for the link.

Some USHL rosters are starting to leak out. Ben Copeland can still make Waterloo's final roster, but he's also on an Elite League roster.

As previously reported, Swaney, Wait, and Mikey Anderson are also on Waterloo's roster and are not expected to return.

(D) Graham Loursung from St. Cloud Cathedral has left to play for the U16 Green Bay Gamblers. He will be a junior this year

What's story with Graham? Losing him will kill EP's chance of winning state

If all those guys go, Mr. Hockey is going to be a weak group.

Last I heard, Tufte and Graham were doing the before and after.

Wait, Swaney,Zimmer all 99.9% gone

Murray could be a link to the last spring Kierstad decision

Smallidge could be a link to the recent Hurley decision, he was likely to be a top 3 contender for the Reed Larson winner

I said a year ago I thought thats the last time Id see Hank Sorenson on the ice, so wouldnt surprise me, and linked to the Zimmer decision

No insight on Cunningham

I mentioned back on the 3rd page of this thread Zins made Cedar Rapids 30 man. Mark Carlson doesnt usually bring in High School students unless he is going to keep them. I would suspect Zins makes the roster but that is just my guess.

I don't see Wait on the Waterloo roster. Anyone know why, or am I blind?

Thanks.

I'm not a doctor but you might be blind.

Garin is on the same roster and according to others he will be back at Holy Family. Not sure if that means anything but I thought worth noting

Funny, I forgot to add him, but should have. He was one of the first players rumored to be leaving. He'll be a Mr. Hockey favorite if he comes back.

I confirmed a few weeks ago that Garin is coming back 100% I know he recently got accepted back into the Elite League because they also thought he was gone. I heard that he is being left on the list because in case he wants to play any game after the HS season.

Not a departure but instead a return... Edina's Big D-man Cal Pugh will play again this season.

I'm still waiting for word on Smallidge y'all. In the meantime, I've got a few NAHL players to check on. First up are Trey Rooney from Robbinsdale and Koby Bender from Cloquet. Anybody?

Rooney won't be back. Couldn't make the "Elite" league and will end up playing his senior year with the Magicians which I can't blame. Smallidge may do before and after with Omaha but he's listed on the Elite roster. Elite camp is this weekend so time will tell. Guess on Bender is that he's in purple and gold for his senior year and will do before and after only in the NAHL. With the smell of pronto pups in the air we aren't that far away. RIP Coliseum the dumpy horse barn of a hockey arena.

I can confirm this. Will has left Cedar Rapids to return to Holy Family. The people who I was talking to said he would have to battle for ice time in Cedar Rapids and both parties thought it was beneficial to return to MN this season.
