The coach hasn't been announced, but he is a great fit and has deep roots in the boys and girls programs in Hibbing. It will be great to have someone that will have a program wide approach finally.

Rumor has it this will be the last year for Virginia and Eveleth and that they will be combined for the 21-22 season. The original plan was to play as separate teams until the new high school opened. I think budget concerns are moving them to combine all sports earlier.

Can confirm the new Hibbing coach is Eric Rewertz. Already appears that he will be much more involved and progressive when it comes to the youth program. Great hire, IMO.
