I thought glowstick played for White? Wasn't it Green that beat Wayzata?

Interesting victory for Green. Wonder if Wayzata will find consistency during the D3 playoffs. No automatic bid there, so they need to follow through in the playoffs.

Was the Edina Green vs. Way. Blue game close? or what happened cause isn't that a little bit of an upset for Edina to win?

Also if Sibley only has one B team i've seen them play, and i agree they were good, but i don't think they were outstanding, underrated maybe, but at best just below the rankings radar.

I think that EP has a great spot this year. they got an automatic bid to regions and seem that dist 6 playoffs is going to be not to difficult to win because they went undefeated in regular season.

Yes EP is a very good team but i wouldnt say that District playoffs is goin to be a breeze. Both Edina teams are good and might finally pull of a victory vs. EP.

Whoever thinks Ep will breeze through districts is not too bright. Ep barely beat Edina Green in districts in both their games. Both went to OT. Edina White almost beat them in the ship in Moorhead. Last year Ep hadn't beat Edina all year until Regions.

Probably the goalies, duh!!

We haven't heard for the White kids, or their fearless leader, glowstick lately. And I can't find a score anywhere from last night. Is it possible that they lost to Jefferson? Somebody please fill us all in!

Princeton has a pretty solid team this year i beleive #1 seed in D-10 and they are a pretty good team to bad there starting goalie thats in 8th grade who allowed them to play A up untill this year played Varsity or they would be even better

Edina White beat jefferson 5-2 and lost to chaska tonite 3-2 in triple overtime. Therefore EP, Edina green, Chaska are off to regions.

Nope, I played the whole game. The 1st goal went off one of my own players skates. The second goal was a good shot but everyone was scrambling in fromnt of the net. The winning goal was just a good shot. it does suck to lose in 3 OTs but Im not that dissapointed in my performance. You can ask anyone that was there and they will tell I played amazing in all 3 OTs. Good luck to Chaska, They have improved greatly since we beat them 8-2 in the regular season.

Not bad kid. A definite backtrack from some of your earlier posts, but it's a fine line between cockiness and confidence. Not sure which side your walking just yet. Any 3OT game is a heartbreak for someone and I will give it to you that you made it worth watching. I was surprised that your mates didn't mount more attack in the OTs. Still a bit confused about the 3rd penalty they gave in the 2nd OT. Was that a bench minor on the coach? It was the difference maker. From where I watched it all unfold, you did play very well in the OTs. That one controversial glove save in particular. You were the reason it went to 3OT instead of regulation. Good job.

Like the networks do with people like Roenick when they are eliminated from the Cup run, be our analyst here and give us your thoughts on the remaining games of the D6 Tourney. Obviously a little Hornet bias, but give us your take on Green vs. Chaska and maybe a prediction and then what you think about the winner getting EP and if that Sunday game will be necessary. Would love to hear your analysis as you've seen them all play from ice-level.

Chaska vs Edina will be a very good game. i expect Edina to win but Chaska could give them a hard time. Who is #17 on Chaska? He is a hack but hes got some moves and a nice shot. EP will win districts. Both Chaska and Edina don't have a chance in regions. i congratulate them for making it that far, they are both great teams but i do not think they are good enough to compete in regions. it sucks to not be in regions but im blaming it mostly on the penalty trouble we got into in overtime and lack of effort on my teams behalf when it is most needed. Good luck to all the remaining teams. it looks as though i have played my last game for Edina.

I expected EP to win districts but I knew Edina green would give them a run. Edina green has really stepped it up lately by beating EP twice, wayzata blue , chaska, and edina white.

Update on D2,
#1 seed- White Bear Lake Orange---1
#8 seed- Forest Lake Rangers -----5

Huge upset, although White Bear played their goalie that is horrible to set up their goalie that is good for a big game.

Stillwater plays White Bear Black to go to the championship.

North St. Paul upset Roseville to go to the semi-finals.

Most likely, White Bear Orange will beat Roseville and play White Bear Black to go to regions through the back door. It smells like a high quality playoff game.
