sounds to me like SSP is contolling the flow of the game pretty well.

Has Wadena had many scoring chances and just not able to capitolize? Or is SSP just out right beating them and that is why the have the 3-0 lead?

4-0 now. Pilot scored on a breakaway. Shots are 22-7. WDC can't muster much of an attack.

4-0...SSP big hits and taking the body...SSP around 23-24 shots on goal...WDC goalie keeping them in...The way I see it SSP dominating...

SSP is the much better team they are destroying WDC. Stalock has been great so far very impressive. He might be able to shtu down breck. WDC doent belong on the same ice sheet as SSP right now. 15-2 in favor of SSp in shots that period.

SSP
Lamanna has quick feet and good hands.
Pilot is VERY good.
Stalock is definetly not conventional but stops and starts threats.
WDC
Wadena does not know how to hit - maybe Stearns.
Timm is playing well - or it would be a repeat of the first game.
They need something good to happen right away but I don't see where that will come from.

At the beginning I thought this was going to be a heck of a game but now its sorta turned into a 1-sided affair. WDC cant get the puck through the neutral zone because of SSPs trap that is working perfectly. As for Stalock, I cant really say hes playing great because hes only had like 8 shots and none of them have been great opportunities... except for the poke-check on the break-away he made which could have won the game. I doubt WDC will come back but Ive seen weirder things..<img src=

WDC gets some life.
Neu scores -BUT
Maybe he is tired but he came in and took a bad angle shot instead of driving to the net then he is gliding (lazy or tired)with his back to the play on the far wall.
Bad play by SSP D and he gets the puck.
Made a very nice shot though.

WDC is getting worked man sad to see they are not on the same level as SSP. 6-1 this one could get even uglier Albert Lea and WDC really didnt look like they belong out thier today not very fun hockey to watch. SSP vs Breck should be a nice one.

6-1 final. SSP completely dominated this game. It says a lot about the competition Wadena had to have a 1-loss season. <img src=

The program has to start somewhere, after this past season's results maybe they can lure some tougher teams to play them next year...adding crookston was a start but try getting TRF,EGF,LOW......

Step it up / Wadena

2GIRLSINBB are right on the mark if Wadena is going to take their program to the next level of class A. They need to look beyond Section 4.

Will Wadena be that strong next year?
12 or so seniors on the roster - most of the scoring is leaving.
2 senior goalies.
Yes, they need to toughen the schedule but with whom???
I don't see the teams mentioned willing to drop someone - they are pretty full with section 8 and conference games and some traditional rivals.
Perhaps they need to find a tough Christmas tournament.
