im sure this post will get all the spud fans all riled up but. I think most non moorhead fans are waiting for the day that moorhead loses and doesnt win state. All i hear about how great they are and how its a cakewalk to the final. I also hate how all the fans only talk about how the beat wbl, and hill, when they forget that wbl,hm beat them. Hopefully some team beats them (semi final vs 3AA) they will lose and the end of the world will happen for moorhead. <p></p><i></i>

WBLBEARS06, I don't know what fans you have been talking to, but I think you have your facts mixed up a bit. Sure, I admit Moorhead has some obnoxious fans, but every other team does as well. Most Moorhead fans, like those of other teams are pretty realistic in realizing that any team can be beaten on any given day. Show me where anyone has said Moorhead will have a cakewalk to the final. If you can show me that post, than you have shown me an idiot. Nobody in the state tourney has a cakewalk. All teams better show up ready to play. And as to talking about how we beat WBL and Hill, it is usually to answer a post referring to Moorhead's losses to those teams. I think Mhd and WBL are very even and if we played 10 times it might end up 5-5 or 6-4. And for the non Moorhead fans hoping we lose, oh well.... I don't think any Moorhead fans or players will lose sleep over it. So you want to talk about Moorhead's road record against the cities schools? Ok, then let's look at the road records outside of the metro of a few cities teams then.<br><br>Jefferson....... 0-1 (loss to Moorhead)<br><br>WBL............. 1-1 (beat Grand Forks Red River and lost to Mhd)<br><br>Centennial.... 1-1 (beat Duluth East and lost to Moorhead)<br><br>So, we can throw out that stat because it's a wash.<br><br>Also, in case you forgot, the state tourney is played on NEUTRAL ice, and your statement about the Spuds having to go 3-0 in the state tourney is true for EVERY team that gets there. <p></p><i></i>

It has come to my understanding that in most of these threads its the Moorhead Fans debating with the Cities Schools and their fans! <p></p><i></i>

I'm pretty neutral now that my AA team (Hill-Murray) is out of the playoffs. But Moorhead fans remember, The state tournament is played in St. Paul. So the "City Teams" record in games played up north is pretty irrelavent. <p></p><i></i>

Sorry Northerners, since my class A team So. St. Paul is done early this year too i'll hop on the Warroad bandwagon, since I have said they are the best team i've seen all year. <br><br>Slappy is that legal? Neut, (can I call ya Neut?). Last time I checked, Moorhead wasnt a suburb. Also, I have heard that they have never won. <br><br>Keep us posted on those enrollment figures though. <p></p><i></i>

does it matter if its a suburb? population should matter more. Take duluth for example like 80k ppl live their more then 3/4 of the suburbs. <p></p><i></i>
