This is great to see. I hope we see more of this sort of thing in the future (women returning to coach). Sometimes though these are just quick stops on the way to the college ranks.

Always good to leave on a good note. He will be relpaced by his assistant coaches John Taylor and John Aikens. Cory Ratzlof will be doing the STP this summer and then assume the JV coaching responsibilities from Jeff Whisler.
We've seen lots of turnover in the Classic Suburban Conf. as of late. After many years of more stability, all but 3 coaches have been replaced in the past 2 years now. Palmquist leads the pack tenure wise being one of only 2 MN HS coaches to have coached at the same school since the sport started in 1994-5. Scanlan at Apple Valley is the other I believe. Mahtomedi lost a good one with Jacobson leaving, but is in good hands - especially with an AD that knows hockey well even if not involved in the coaching any longer.

I don't know the details, but AD Heller gave me my first coaching job and was an outstanding person to work for as a young coach. Gutterman was also a mentor to me when the Blades were the East Side and Stars the West. There's an outstanding goaltender to build around that will be a Sr. next year but unfortunately I don't know much else about the Blades program at this point in time.

I have heard Mike Peluso will be back at St. Louis ParK and Aaron Schram will continue at Blmtn. Jefferson. Both are second hand rumors but they sounded good to me.

I hadn't heard that on Peluso but did hear the Schram one too. Good for both programs!

Why is Warroads coaches Derek Comstock and David Marvin on this list? They are not being replaced!!! this "list" must not be accurate.

No, they are not being replaced but they were on the list of new coaches from last year. That is the list that GHS posted in the opening message in this thread. Nice first post!
