CEC needs to get healthy to win this game. if they can only roll two lines the whole game east will probably were them down. but with reid playing as well as he has been lately maybe 1 goal would be enough for CEC to win. should be a great game to watch i don't think there will be more than 4 goals total in this game.

After watching him play last night..... wow! the kid is amazing. Great speed and a pretty crafty player. Several times he snuck behind the hermantown defense and got open for a couple breakaways. If east wants to win this game they will have to keep track of him and find a way to put the puck past Ellingson. Ill take the Jack's 3-0. (havnt changed my mind.)
Duluth East won't shoot everything right into Reid like Hermantown did.

Ya true East sets it up more than just firing hoping to get a deflection or rebound....

Leis @ Ellingson

This should be a fantastic game, and the LumberDome will surely be rocking! FSN should have a great time with this one. I'm thinking it will go like....

Duluth East - 1
Cloquet-Esko-Carlton - 2

[quote="chopchopMN"]umm DuluthEastFan... Can I ask you a question? ...... Do you check Cloquet's stats and/or watch them play besides when they play east? Yeah TJ gets most of the attention but theres more to it than just him.

Oh and Im pretty sure TJ can hold his own against an East Player...

And it seems to me that more than TJ can finish the job... Brown, Jokinen, and Lundquist to name a few...[/quote It would have been great watching
two D1's battle, Turnbull vs Johnson; however I think East is deeper
with 3 solid lines and will wear Cloquet down. R. Johnson and Flaherty
have alot of speed themselves and can keep up with T. Johnson

If that is true (which I hope isn't the case) it's a shame. The hockey fans of Minnesota would miss out on seeing one of the best players in the state.
Anyone else know who might be out for this one? I heard Karlsson will be back in the line up. Sounds like Roe, Ermatinger, & Dunaisky could all be out? Too bad about Roe too, that kid is a huge part of that squad.
East is playing perhaps the best hockey in the state now and with the injuries to the Jacks, I may have to be a realist on this one and go with the Hounds. Stranger things have happened however.......

It is kind of a downer though. I would have liked to see him play.

I agree. The young man has skills. He has his chance again if he can lead his team through that section.
