Ana Young from Butte Montana shook the net from the far blue line for the eventual 1-0 lead. THe Eau Claire star and future Concordia Cobber Aly Lund drove a shot that found the back of the net for the game winner.Mackenzie Miller Princton Minnesota native sealed the deal with an open net goal while on a 6-4 disadvantage The Minnesota Crunch have lost only twice in their last 12 outings.

Carly is definitely a great player and has also been a good friend and mentor to the younger skaters she plays with during the off-season. She will be a great addition to the team...and her teammates/friends will be proudly watching!

Carly Kuhbander is indeed a very good player - she gets missed a lot because she did not play for a high profile HS team (St Louis Park) and she has not done a lot of visible summer hockey. But she is an outstanding athlete (used to be good at soccer too) - very good fundamental hockey skills and that "instinct" to make something happen on the rink that is hard to teach - some kids have it, and some don't. Carly does!
She can score in many different situations, she's fast and appropriately aggressive on the ice. She has developed rapidly the past couple of seasons in particular. If she can keep improving the next year at the rate she has in the recent past, well I'd say the Crunch might have their second DI player by this time next year!
