That's the worst, AD's always have to ruin everything
the AD in New Ulm suspended kids to go to the eagles games for two weeks.that ruins everything

enough, can we all agree that the WBL student section is god's gift to hockey so they will shut up about it.

i was at the hibbing waroad game and the first time waroad stepped on the ice hibbing started booing affter that the ad had nothing to do with it and went over there and started yelling at them. come on their high school kids let them have some fun. its not like they were swearing or giving them the finger.

I'm surprised there AD didn't go nuts when they chanted "Brooklyn Brawler" when I believe it was Olds who got a penalty.

i second that, now if kids are starting brawls in the stands, throwing things on the ice, or doing anything that affects the saftey of the players or other fans then yea the AD should step in. It seems like more and more in the last few years they have been ruining everything. Let kids be kids, so what if they are a little "disrespectfull" the AD's idea of this seems to be just being good fans. As a player and a fan i love the crazy fans, it makes for a great atmosphere whether its in your barn or on the road, its what makes high school sports so great.
The Whole thing with hibbing's student section was that they were chanting PLEASE BAN ME when there would be a Terrible call...i mean come on...its not like the kids are dropping the F word for christs sake...let them be kids...high school only comes around for so long. I talked to a few of the seniors after last nights game...sounds like there is going to be a riot at that school soon.
Hopefully, Hibbing isn't on the same path that Virginia took. After they started regulating everything the student section did, it eventually just pretty much disappeared. Now all you see at a Virginia home game for a student section is the JV team and some player's girlfriends. You gotta let high school kids be high school kids, so long as it isn't endangering anyone's safety or overly vulgar.

the only game i've ever been to was last year when we played there, and it did draw a pretty decent crowd, they were quite except cheering or booing at penalties, no chants. they did however have some halfway decent signs. im just wondering why they dont switch the ends so that the visiting goalie had to be right under the band for 2 periods, that could really rattle him.

I'm afraid they are probably on that path, The Athletic Director is from Chisholm...Hibbings Biggest Rival...Tim Scott...he was in line to get Chisholm's AD Job when there Director Retired after this year...its quite obvious the guy just took over the job so he could ruin hibbing's fan base..theres already a facebook page started to get him fired...its getting bad in hibbing...this guy may want to seriously think about resigning before he gets his house burnt down or his car windows broken or something like that.

student sections need to chill out. being loud is great, clever is great, occasionally rude and obnoxious is still good, but fights in the game... grow up.
by the way WBL superfans, i am not too impressed this year. come up with creative stuff and quite being jerks
when are we being jerks?
Haha how bout when you come over to the Woodbury student section and start giving girls concussions???

1. As a WB fan i am sorry this happened it should never been allowed to go that far and the police that where there watching the incident should have stepped in and stopped it.
2. But, you can not group the rest of the WB fans into the same category as this one idiot who thought he could jump into your section. He is not a WBL student and was there just to try and start fights with whoever he could.

That was not inappropriate in the LEAST. You are way to sensitive if you take offense to that.
He had friends who were there. He doesn't care, and most likely doesn't know anything about hockey. Just a friend of a fan who wanted to start PLEASE BAN ME.

Keep in mind Edina had the incident with the raging, idiotic fan that threw the "chuck-a-puck" across the ice at the burnsville student section. That has to win some type of award!! Thats something you dont see everyday

As far as your 2nd question hes not a student or a fan. Since when is it a rule you have to go to WB to be fan?

I wasn't implying you have to go to WBL to be a fan. What I was saying is he was a high school student cheering for WBL, so i assumed he was a WBL student. If he wasn't, why wouldn't he cheer for his own school? Obviously I was wrong. And the "we will fight you" chant? We'll see you Feb 19 at Bielenberg

Mound Westonka's 'ad' won't let us do anything. He made us give him all the signs for tonights game against Minnetonka so he could look them over so they were to his liking.
He told us to stop yelling at the Minnetonka goalie. We were making fun of his name, Nik Job. Seriously, let us have some fun.
