Actually Barry, you are again wrong. Hill is definately the favorite. Hill has 5-7 potential division I players on this team. They are underclassmen but still very highly skilled. This Hill team that all of you are discounting just beat ST. Thomas a few short weeks ago and is the odds on favorite to win the section.

I will take Hill in a slower than normal matchup 3-2.

People in White Bear need to realize that this isn't a very talented team this year. Normally they have a couple div. I type players and a bunch of junior talent type players. I don't believe I have seen 1 player that looks to be that type out of the seniors. I have watched this group of players for 3 years and talent wise it just isn't there. You can try and blame the coach but after some of your earlier comments Barry frankly what you have to say doesn't carry much merit to me.

P.S. Barry, how many times did you have to beat Hill Murray to get to those youth tourny's???????????

You should actually be ashamed of the way you are on here ripping apart good people and really good hockey coaches. If you are so mad maybe you should step down and let people who believe in White Bear take your spot.

This guy must be scouting for Junior B's. 5-7 Div 1 prospects on Hill???
please clarify these players. Hill is lucky to have 3 max.
And I know personally that Bobby Motzko agrees with me.

Scout,

Actually, thru PM'ing with Barry McConnell, I ended up actually meeting with him while they had their district playoffs. I approached him after his team lost in districts, and I laughingly blamed the coaching.

He's a likable young man, who has shown me his passion for WBL hockey, and we agreed to disagree on the coaching aspects at the High School level, but, he does realize he's pushed some buttons. Sad thing is, I forgot his name already.

I do agree with you on the outcome of this game, Scout. I have mixed impressions with Shaughnessy in goal for Hill, but my reports showed he played well the first meeting.

I don't think WBL will be able to stay out of the box. Team speed of Hill will result in a lot of holding and interference calls. Look for Hill to score a minimum of two power play goals. The penalties will wear the Bears down on 5 x 5 situations and they won't possess the puck too much in these situations.

My neutral observation says Hill 5-2.

From the sounds of it, Mr. Goldfishdude, you have lost more respect from your peers for going "against" your Bears by not attending the game.
