Or, maybe it's just time for KRACH to take over and see what the computer generates!
I agree. The competition in girls hockey is better every year. I think we need an unbiased formula to figure this all out. I'm curious to see how KRACH rates teams after last night's Pony/Raider game and then again after the Edina/Stillwater game tomorrow regardless of the results.

Rankings only give you an idea/good guess. The only way is to play each other and even then there is no sure way. Teams match up differently against certain opponents. Hastings 2 Stillwater 0. Stillwater 5 Roseville 3 and maybe Roseville beats Hastings? It's the beauty of the game.

Has Elk River played anyone?? 10- 0 means nothing if you don't play a top team. As demonstrated last year at State. That's why I personally like a play down system to get to State. 64, 32 team played down. What a great thing that would be.

I know here we go again. Nobody wants to see the last 4 teams being from sec 4. :D ok I'll give you Hopkins and Edina. Then Rosseau and Irondale look pretty good. And what about Warroad, Blake oh that's right they're afraid of Class 2A when it means something. :? had to take the shot.

My eye in the stands called to tell me Edina is up on Stillwater 4-1 after two.

Edina 5, Stillwater 2

Edina played well especially in the first period outscoring Stillwater 3-0. I wonder if Stillwater was a little flat after their big win against Roseville.

Elk River beat us Centenial 3-2. They are a very good team they roll 3 lines. Curtis girl very dificult to stop.

Elk go down tonight to North Metro 3-1.

Our rematch with Elk River should be very good. I think we are on a roll. Finally, scoring some goals. White Bear is in our tournament. By the sounds of it im sure White Bear will just roll every one over. Will see.

Hill Murray has a nice team. Although you do play in a very soft conference. You make up for with some nice non-confernece games. I really think they should do like Grand Rapids does and go Independant and get out of the conference. But then again the first place banners always look good for the new recruits.

Roseville is an excellent well coached classy team. I think the Stillwater game woke a sleeping giant. This game wasn't as close as the score, goalie Wical stopped several break aways and the Raiders of Hastings came out a little flat and were a bit intimidated by their opponents size. Goalie Boss made the required saves and all three Roseville lines are consistantly tough. Again the reffing was suspect, letting everything go the first 2 periods and then calling the "iffy" ones and letting the "obvious" ones slide in the third. Roseville scored 2 power play goals in the final period that really let the air out of Hastings. Watch out for the Raiders of Roseville, they truly are the real deal and the team to beat.

Very strange night when both NSP and SSP get beaten by their red-headed stepsisters, namely Tartan and Simley.

Hopkins 5-1 over Shakopee.... game was closer than the score shows. Hopkins lead 1-0 after one and 2-1 after the 2nd. Shakopee appeared to tie the game up at 2 but the goal was disallowed as the ref said the net was off. Shakopee outshot Hopkins 21-5 in the 2nd period. Shakopee just couldn't get anthing else past Billadeau. Shako's starting goalie gave up 4 goals and then thier backup/JV goalie gave up the final one. Final shots were Hopkins 39- Shakopee 35.

Final
Tonka - 3
EP - 1

Tonka was the better team but not nearly as lopsided as the JV game was (Tonka 6-1). What happened to EP's depth?
