He's a Minneapolis resident who attends public school in Edina. 15s are based on residence.

So how does a kid like this get nominated? [ not that he is not deserving, I'm sure he is] Did his b-1 coach know that he went to school in D-1?

Get back under your rock.
Edina is in D 6 and most districts don't allow there B1 players to tryout for an obvious reason...there is about 100 Bantam A players that don't receive the opportunity. District 1 is no longer a district after this season. Would you like an explanation? As a matter a fact a bunch of them are running to District 2.

....yes. And Highland is the one going to District 2, Como/Johnson to District 8, and Mpls Park to District 3. All four associations are leaving to different districts. So a BUNCH are not "running" to District 2, just one.

D1: 3
This game was closer than the score appears. D3 picked up a few quick ones at the end. D1 looked better than I anticipated, but D3 was simply too deep up front.
Score Tonight and Question

I was at the game D3 vs D1 tonight and beleive the Final was 10-3.
D3 must have outshot them 40-10.
I was impressed by big #18 for District 1. Who is that kid? He had a breakaway goal I saw. Handles the puck well.
Him and Tyler Cammaretta from D3 are very talented. (As are many of the D3 players)

Are Zach Hale and Jack Jablonski form Mpls Park Bantam A both going to Benilde next year or SLP or Mpls West?

And you're probably right about that score, I left with a fiew minutes to go. D3 must've gotten a few more in the last 2 or 3 minutes. It was a pretty close game after the 1st half (3-1 score, if I'm not mistaken)....but D1 took a lot of penalties and was shorthanded much of the 2nd half and D3 really started to take it to them. You're right, Cammarreta looked very solid...although I think D1 had more than 10 shots in the game.
My bet is that D3 and D6 should be the deepest of all the district teams.
