WBL over Blaine in 3 ots
1st OT 10 min 5 on 5
2nd OT 4 on 4
3rd OT 3 on 3 after resurface
3 on 3 on an Olympic sheet is not the way to decide a winner in a state tourney.

ya, i agree with that also.
we were so tired after the first 2 over times
we came out the first shift and created a 2 0n 1
the player took a shot far side upper shelf
the goalie glove hand must of been tires.
everyone on both teams gave everything they had.
too bad we played blaine in the first round, i think they deserved to finish higher than 5th

WBL orange- CONGRATS!!! You deserved it. You beat a great team in EP RED. ENJOY your Championship! As for the others it was a great State Tournament. All teams were classy with some exciting games. As for Khubs14 not so sure why you are bitter against EP, is it still because of last year and losing to EP at State in Peewee's or was it because they beat you in the Edina tourney this year to send you out. Yeah, we all know you beat them in the meaningless region game, but they still finished ahead of you at State. You guy's had a nice year congrats on 3rd place. Nice comment hockeyman-Why does Wayzata not have 2 equal teams?? The other big associations do-WBL,EP, Edina?

I agree with Blaine finishing higher, with a team like Chisago, dont get me wrong they are a good team, but i think in the final places it should have gone like this if the brackets were different (throwing in an additional 2 teams to fill out the top 10):
1.White Bear Orange- 37-10-3. well deserved
2.Ep Red- 45-6-4
3.Wayzata- 37-8-2
4.Blaine- 44-4
5.Chisago Lakes-36-6-3, were a very underated team all year (congrads)
6.Rochester Red- not sure
7.Moorhead-not sure
8. Pequot Lakes- 39-7
9.Centennial Red- hard working team
10.Stillwater

I completely understand Khubs disliking E.P. It's a healthy rival hate, nothing else. I'm sure they'd love to see us lose too. It's not just about last year either, Khubs wasnt on that team

I think the Jefferson Jaguars were one of the top teams in state. They may not have made it to state or regions but if you look they beat 3 of the teams in state tourny tied E.P red twice, beat edina green, lost to wbl orange 1-0. Jefferson had 3 strong lines with their #1 line Sauro, Spellmire and Roisum they could have easily made it to state and easily won it

Jefferson didn't make it out because D6 was loaded this year. 8 teams were ranked in the LPH top twenty along with Pioneers top rankings.
Based on the logic above any one of the 5 D6 teams who didn't advance to regions could say the same thing incuding Chaska who beat EP Red and Tonka who beat Jefferson, Edina Green, Chaska and Burnsville.

I was watching the news today and please forgive me but, I don't know kids with their helmets off, did Andrew Ford win the Geogrophy championship at E.P? Is this the same Andrew Ford that stone walled D6 this year?
