LF doesn't have the jump they did in the 2nd.

That 4th Hawk goal was a softie, short side shouldn't be open from that angle.

a hermantown kid (16) just got owned head first into the net.
is it just me or have there been very few rushes that a player has tried to simply use speed... the players keep trying to dangle instead of skate

!!! That game was way to close for me! I give Little Falls props, they put up a good fight. Hopefully Hermantown plays on Friday like they did in that 3rd period.

Lou is right, LF did earn some respect tonight.
Who wouldn't want LF #9 in their lockeroom next year.

Hermantown better play a lot better on defense as the move forward in the tourney. I have seen them play a couple times this season and felt like defensively they were weak tonight.
LF played a good game, but I think they were just worn out relying so heavily on their #1 line. Festler sure is an exciting player to watch. That kid has some great skills with the puck. I expect to see LF take home the Consolation Championship.

Once Hertown got that tying goal the had more get up and go in thier skates than Little Falls. Don't know if Little Falls got worn down or Hermantown turned it up a notch or both. Pretty exciting game for the most part. Don't think the next one will be as exciting. Taking Warroad by a bunch over Albert Lea.
