St. Francis huh? I heard that they have been picking it up lately on the defensive end, good for Holmers. It's nice to see some of the background players for the Red Knights coming into their own against some top competition.JV State Champs wrote:John Holmers for BSM vs. St. Francis 2/7/08

The thread is called "Hat Trick List"! Not "Hat Trick's Only vs Quality Teams List"! St. Francis is horrible too. So it was an even game!hockeyfan43 wrote:DoubleDeuce wrote:#9 Joey Benik of St Francis vs Cooper

Stafne scored a trick against the Sauk-Rapids team tonight. Johnson does make him look good, I agree, but he can put it in the net if he gets the opportunity. His first was a breakaway goal, second a nice slapshot from the top of the circle, and third a game winner from in close, a nice goal. Saulk-Rapids is a good team and he tucked three timesColdasIce wrote:staf is a senior, who has some serious issues with attitude. against really good competition he doesn't score hat tricks.....anybody like to list the teams and their records of his 7, WOW hat tricks..take away the teams with losing records, and I bet he nets one or the most two ...johnson makes him look goodPuckRanger wrote:Stafne is a senior.wbmd wrote: Pretty impressive - no matter who the competition is.
What year is Stafne?
Would you take your best scorer off the ice when you were down two in the third. I think not.sticksuphigh wrote:Three minute shift??hockeyguy09 wrote:Ben Persian: Third Period, Three Minutes, Three Goals. All on one shift. Fastest hat trick ever scored in high school hockey.

Phil was one of the best players if not THE best player in MN high school hockey back in the mid-to-late 60's. At that time it was extremely rare for any Minnesota kid to make it into the NHL and he was one of the very few who was good enough to do it.Geo wrote:Sorry - 37 Second!!! the fastest hatrick in high school hockey was by Centerman Phil Hoene (former LA King) for the Duluth Cathedral High School Hill Toppers (now Duluth Marshall) during the 2nd period versus the International Falls Broncos Thursday Dec. 7, 1967.
