I don't recall saying goldy is dumb, Brian. Just thought it was funny he felt he had rid the bored of stupidity, but actually he was just adding to it along with you.

I think Fergus will beat Alexandria so they can see if its possible to have more of a one sided section championship game than last years. If LF cruises past Apollo and FF/Alex are you all still saying they don't have a shot at a top four seed?

That is exactly what everyone who is knowledgeable about the sport of high school hockey is saying.

Who would be your top four then?

PeeWee makes a good point. Most likely the top three will be the 7A entrant(Marshall/I. Falls), the 8A entrant (Warroad), and the 4A entrant(STA). After that, it's a crapshoot as to who should get the 4 seed. It would boil down to the 5A entrant(Denfeld/Hermantown/SCC) or the 6A entrant if it's the Flyers.

In my bracket I have the following teams making it to state:
Mankato West
Breck
New Ulm
St. Thomas Academy
Saint Cloud Cathedral
Alexandria (but we can say Small Falls for the sake of this argument)
International Falls/Duluth Marshall
Warroad
Teams that would/will be seeded above Little Falls:
Mankato West
St. Thomas Academy
Saint Cloud Cathedral
International Falls/Duluth Marshall
Warroad
Teams that could get seeded above Little Falls:
Breck
Teams that will not get seeded above Little Falls:
New Ulm (or whoever comes out of 3A)
Can you please explain to me how you see Little Falls getting a top 4 seed if they make it?

I am with you on this one too! I hope that Alex can get a W over FF. It should be a tough fought game between both teams.

Thank you for noticing Angus. I've been saying this all along for everyone on here that gives LF no chance. I can see a pretty steady top three but who would get the four?

Breck and Mankato West are no ways. Mankato West is the LF of this year. Sure they have a ton of wins and few losses but who wouldn't when the are playing the old women of the convent sort of teams. Where are their quality wins?

I just gave you two teams that would for sure get seeded above Little Falls and one team that could. What more do you need?

My math says thats three teams bucko. Top four get seeds.

West is ranked ahead of Little Falls in every poll except Let's Play hockey, where they are one spot behind. Breck is ranked only a few spots back of Little Falls in every poll while having the 51st strongest schedule compared to Little Falls 101st strongest. I can ask the exact same question about Little Falls, where are their quality wins?

I gave you legitimate reasons why Little Falls won't get seeded and who will get seeded and you choose to disagree. All I can do is give you the information. What you choose to do with it after is up to you.

Whats Mankato West's strength of schedule? As for Breck or Blake, they can have a harder schedule. That can't be considered an advantage when you have no wins against any good teams and several losses against very questionable teams. How about I coax a team into scheduling all the powerhouses every game and pull out three wins. Give me a break. Rochester Lourdes throttled Breck by the way. Mankato West, LF and Breck and Blake have about the same amount of quality wins.
little falls

I agree I dont think there is really any way that Little Falls can get a top 4 seed IF they make it to state. Unless there are some huge upsets in other sections with some 3 or 4 section seeded teams making it I just dont see how they possibly could.
I think lourdes will beat west and they will get the 4th seed. Even though little falls beat them they play a more difficult schedule and would get the 4 seed. Also I dont see fergus beating alex on saturday, Im looking forward to the little falls alex final. hopefully a good one

NO WINS AGAINST ANY GOOD TEAMS?!
I guess St. Thomas really isn't that good this year.
West's strength of schedule is 119.
So everybody who is involved in making the rankings that have West above Little Falls is wrong, and you are right?
St. Thomas got throttled by Duluth Marshall, but we've already determined that they're not a good team so in your logic St. Thomas probably shouldn't be ranked either.
