Bruce Miller has selected Herb Harvey as the head coach of our Girls Varsity Team for next season. Herb comes from Lakeville South High where he was head coach of the girls varsity team last season. Prior to that Herb was the coach for 5 years at Lakeville High School where he took the Lakeville Girls to the state tournament twice. Herb will also be teaching at Eastview High School next year.
JV and Assistant coach selections are still being worked on.

Congratulations to Eastview and Herb, a great match! Finally Eastview should have the stability that they have been searching for. Too bad for the LS program. Always tough to lose a quality coach, but more difficult after one season. The chips continue to fall.

Agreed on Harvey, but let me add that LVS is a growing area that I'm sure will do well ong term. Never helps to have different coaches year-to-year I don't believe, but in a sport that's turing over 20% of the jobs each year, I guess it's to be expected unfortunately...

My guess is that the transition to two schools is tough and that leads to some changes, departures, etc.?

While I typically don't speculate on this sort of thing - I have heard this as well - but I don't believe that an official confirmation has happened yet.
