Did anybody go to the Chaska v.s. Edina Green 2-2 tie? What about the 7-1 Minnetonka loss to Edina White?

Just shows upsets do happen, and the rankings don't mean as much as some people think.

Things will start to pan out after the numerous Thanksgiving Tournaments. Speaking of which, what do we think are the ones that really matter?
Obviously The Moose is the top one but after that what ones do we consider?
Roseville, Hopkins, SLP? Others?
Who all is joining me at WBL this weekend? We should have a secret society signal!
Moose

I'm not playing in the Moose, can I still reply back?
Holla!
NorthStar, you playin' or hatin'?
SPS, what's the bat signal? Look for me. I'll be the guy in black.
Finger to the nose with 8 minutes left in the second period of any Bantam game you attend? Hold it for a 10 count? How about the society plays a game where we try and see which of us can get he puck FARTHEST from the center dot during Chuck a Puck?
Where the heck is Elvis? I haven't seen him since he left the building!

Eagleguy, what are you talking about, I think the pressure of trying to repeat at the Moose is getting to you.

Edina White

Great hockey team in Edina White.
However, they may run into fair play point issues (only earned 1 of 4 so far). A couple of theur players visited the box many times in the Tonka game. Tonka versus White was okay for 2 periods. But, White put the hammer down in the 3rd.
White vs. Blue at the Moose is should be a great hockey game this early in the season.

I miss Graves. Where are the Edina updates? Hornets in the house?? Even settle for a Braves fan (that's right, Braves, not Blaze . . .and whoever renamed SW to the Lakers ought to be taken up north and LAUNCHED over the border!) with some reporting on last night's game with White.
How did this Roseville thread come up 6 weeks after those scrimmages out of nowhere?
Oh we'll get a room alright . . . a Party Room!! Word.
And yes, the pressure to repeat has almost clearly made me lose what little I had left of my mind after the month of October.
(October. And the trees are stripped bare, of all they wear. What do I care? October. Kingdoms rise. And Kingdoms fall. But you go on . . .and onnnnnnnnn.) Thanks for the diagnosis, Dr. 36299.

Wow, Edina White is the real deal. I am thoroughly impressed with their start. The question is, how is there such a big discrepancy between Green and White. Is it the coaching? Was it evaluations? I've watched both teams and White is head and shoulders above Green.
What happened with Blue? How did they lose to Blake? It must have been the break. Maybe Blake is underrated. My sources inside tell me Blue out shot them 33-15. I hate putting that stat up though. Why do people justify a team's loss by saying "Well they outshot them." My answer is "oh really do shots count on the scoreboard?" The bottom line is everyone has a loss but White. My predictions for the Moose:
Orange upsets White- The circle of life/Bantam B right EagleGuy?
Blue destroys Rochester- The Blue is pissed (0-1 in league play)
EP Black beats WBL Black- An empty net goal may come into play or it may not. Got to cover all of the bases.
Duluth East beats Minnetonka 5-0- How does Minnetonka get into this tournament? Where is Centennial this weekend?
Sat.
Blue rolls over Orange
EP and East fight to overtime where EP wins in dramatic fashion
White over Rochester by at least 4
WBL Black over Minnetonka by a handfull
Champs = EP. After the drama on Sat. wins by 2 with an empty netter over Blue
White is Consolation champs
East is heading up 35N with a 3rd
Toilet bowl goes to Minnetonka in a close one

While I like the end result of SPS' predictions and while I may become the most hated man at the WBSC, I really can't see Orange beating White. I've watched both and I don't see it. That, in fact, would throw off the whole prediction paradigm. But thanks for the premature repeat!
The most surprising thing about the Blake/Blue outcome might be the 30 saves by Blake goaltending. If they can continue to turn away 91% of their shots, The Bears and the RoadShow will be serious contenders for D3 and a trip to State . . .and then we shall all start the private school recruiting debate. I'm kidding. There's no debate, so stop it. Funny how so many people complain about the Coasters (fi you don't know, don't ask) of Holy Angles, but never so much about The Hill, even back in the early 90s when they won it all. Hmmmmm.
Not yet, Bill! Not yet.
