Wow how the heck do you go through the year, through the sections and then not show up at the state tourney. NOPE they cannot compete with the BIG DOGS!......or RAMS.

Roseau has three very good lines, it's tough to tell where one leaves off and the other begins.

I will do a little mia colpa mia colpa here. The seeding of state tournament teams is a great idea as this wouldn't have been an exciting semi-final.

Aaron Ness is a great player and talented, but I think that the announcers talked about him way too much. Every 5 minutes they talked about him. They should have talked about the whole Roseau team and not just one player. Every state tourny they just take one player off every team and talk about them way too much.

They need those nine power plays again
yeah just as cretin is finding it hard to win another championship while watching the game from the stands

I don't agree. They talked about Oliver and Weston a lot too, and deservedly so.

Oh don't get me wrong they deserve it cause they are great skilled players, but just a little too much of talking them up and about them.

By your same arguement, Moorhead only allowed 1 goal (off the refs skate), compared to the 4 that the royals have given up in 2 periods. Does that mean the Royals are 4 times worse than the Spuds?
Try off Westons stick!
You are a class act! :P

I was at the game. Roseau was just too much for Woodbury. One thing that really stood out in the game was the complete lack of class by SOME of the Woodbury fans at the game. Booing everytime Roseau stepped on the ice, booing when they were announcing the Roseau team. Completely mickey mouse and classless.

Woodbury was a team I always hated playing against for that reason even at the youth level their parents are horrible so it must pass on to the high school kids.

another quick question kind of off topic because I know privates have kids from all over the place, but was there any players on Cretin's team this year that had they stayed to play for their home team would have played for Woodbury? cause that would be some poetic justice and I know that Cretin doesn't... you know... so this isn't to start "the" debate

Cretins goalie is from Woodbury I think.... maybe a few more. Foley did as well as he could. The team in front of him was terrible. #20 could cover his man with a blanket...he got spanked all day!

This is the first time I saw this kid play, and how could you not talk about him? He controlled the game, and brought the puck up for at least 3 of there goals. They had to talk about him, they really didn't have a choice. I thought he was definitely the best player on the ice.

If morehead had not shot the puck into the ref and then had some legs to catch the Roseau Landman who then passed to Kurt Weston who shot it into the net, they would not be whining now. Roseau outhustled the spuds on that play very badly. quit blaming the ref and accept reality. Two roseau players touched the puck after the spud passed it into the ref. Hard to say it went off the refs skate. Whiners - to think I was rooting for the spuds to take state :?:

Even though he didn't get any points, Woodburys' David Eddy still had a pretty good game.
