im pretty impressed with LF. im not so sure why everyone was saying that they had no chance to win this game
By Little Falls you mean the Hanowski brothers because their the only thing I see do anything and they never come off the ice.

We'll get chance to hear how the Hanowski boys do on the Olympic size sheet of Mariucci. Might as well see both rinks since you made the trip.

Welcome to the Walters show!!! Good luck at ucci LF, another consolation bracket... I predict LF to win consolation this year over Mankato West. If STA wants to win another Class A title I think they need to have a talk with their goaltender and tell him to settle down...anyone else?

............what other reasons do you have for the high flying Little Falls teams doing so horrible at State???
They are just not as good, that is the only reason I can think of.

Whatever I think they did pretty well against the #1 seed in the state in class A

Coach is Mike Vannelli's dad and Rob Vannelli, the captain for STA is his younger brother

I think LF gave the Cadets all they could handle.
Good game to watch.

Little Falls played the #1 seed very tough, as did Mankato West against a close behind #2 seed. There is some pretty good hockey being played everywhere!

oh ya real horrible. LF only drew last years champion and STA (which looks to do the same) in the first round. Still, they've had their chance to show what they can do and i think they've represented very well.
The better team won both games, but still...that cannot be considered horrible.

Great games by both sides! LF really came out to play and they looked alot better than an unseeded team, just bad luck drawing STA.
Hanowski's salute was good, I'll give him that. Kinda got a rise out of me being an alum and all, but it was creative and I'll give him points for it. Was pretty sweet when Walters returned the favor though.
LF should tear through the consolation bracket and bring home some hardware, and I was very impressed with the LF 1st line, it just seems they wore down towards the end. Good luck to both teams moving forward, St. Thomas against the winner of Blake/Cathedral, and LF at Mariucci.

So I wasn't able to watch the STA game did my hometown LF team play STA any better then they played last year first round? Or is everyone think they are still weak, like everyone has been saying the whole time?

Too bad overdone goal celebrations don't win games. All in all though, was very impressed with Ben Hanowski. Little Falls looked like a top tier team. Glad to see them in the tourney again.

I would agree being at the game the cadets goalie looked shaky in the net and always covering the puck when there was no LF players close to him, for a goalie with a lot of hype he didnt impress me one bit and he will have to play alot better for the cadets to take the tourney. LF did play a very strong game and my hats off to them cause i know what the feeling is like to be up and then down. I still think that the all 8 teams should be seeded, this game and the mankato game just proves that this random selection is unfair to teams like this...i say seed um all and if the 8 seed doesnt like it im pretty sure there would be eight other teams in class A that would take it
