1st period was kind of boring... BUT there were some good chances towards the end.

From the 2nd period to the end, it was a great, hard fought game!

Suprised no D1 teams have found at least 1 these 3 hidden gems in wahlin birki jansen... alot has to do with everyones beloved coach SAGER who doesnt return scouts calls or emails... the scouts have to show up at practices to even let the kids know there intrestd scoal on you coach sager

I thought my son had also said Wahlin is leaving, too. They do have a connection at Sioux Falls with Kevin Hartzell, whose son was a goalie at WBL before Sager jettisoned him out of town, too.

As far as Jake Wahlin is concerned, a family matter created a situation where they moved near Woodbury. The initial plan from what I was told is that Jake Wahlin and Jake Guentzel wanted to play together. And, let's be honest. Would you rather play for Lex or Sager? Old man Wahlin went to grade school with Sager. I have known Sager since grade school.

However, this was the information I was aware of last year. I have not seen Mr. Wahlin since sectionals last year, so I don't know how accurate this info is now.. BUT, I will say that, at least, this is MY opinion if not factual.

I had asked some of the youth coaches of how Jake Wahlin compared as an A Bantam- pee wee eligible to Brian Bonin, and I was told he was close, if not better than Bonin at that age.

Gretzkyesque in the few games I saw him play.

I just speculated Sioux Falls, just because of the Hartzell connection.... I hope Brandon gets a shot. If Jacob Cepis can play at the U with his size at 5'8" 170, Brando has a shot if he gets in the gym, and learns to play as physical in the defensive zone...or.. if he learns to play defensive.

The talk around wbl is Sioux falls but cannont confirm and yes he needs to become a better all around player like birki is

24.... If you hear anything definite, keep us posted. I am guessing he will just be at WBL until spring break next week, and then take off.

I will goldfishdude today was the last day of school before break so idk if he will be back after the schools break

In my conversations with with WBL "A" Bantam coaches, Jake was not even their focus when playing Woodbury. Rumor has it, that a lot of kids have caught up to Jake, and quite a few have passed him. Don't get me wrong, he is still a very gifted player. Just not the cream of the crop that he once was.

Jake wahlin is a prodigy and will be going to woodbury. hed still be in WBL if it was not for sager... jake wahlin to hill murray haha... Sager is destroying WBL hockey get him out...

Body... good info.. since I haven't been around this year, I don't have all the info I used to get.. You still have more sources than Oprah, but not quite as big a butt.

Guentzel will be gone, wont be playing together anyway.

Frankly the award is distributed each year to a proper candidate; however, I do believe politics influence the decision as well. Duh.

From what I hear, its pretty clear that Jake Wahlin will never skate for the Bears.

75% chance Woodbury
25% chance Hill-Murray

Oh and if he does choose Hill-Murray the "We got Wahlin" chant which you know will come is going to make a lot of people sick lol.
