At this point it doesn't matter all that much. The only team with home ice is East. Just have to win, baby.
Be interesting to see what would happen if ER and Andover make the final. Would the game be moved? It's a long way from that, but I wonder what would be done.
Time to earn the respect. ER seems to be the Dangerfield of HS hockey this year. Nice wins over MG, GR, Blaine, Centennial and tie to EP and Centennial. Wow!
We commmmmmmin!

Oh someone please pinch me.
I think if Elk River wins on Tuesday they will give East fits. Either way I love the schedule. 10 am semi-final start and I get East vs. Elk River/CEC as an appetizer for Rapids/Andover. Hell yes!
Re: Let's see if this gets them fired up.

UMD women are playing their WCHA first round playoff series, and the UMD men are hosting Colorado College. Gonna go to the UMD/CC game Friday night.

Agree on the quarterfinals...only close game will be ER vs. Cloquet, having home ice gives ER the edge.
Semi-finals
Duluth East 4 ER 1
GR 4 Andover 3 (in OT)
Final
Duluth East 5 GR 2 (EN goal)

Anyone know if any of the pep bands will show for the semi-finals? Would be nice to see Andover and/or Elk River bring a band. I would think East would have theirs at Amsoil for the semis. I know Rapids band will probably be at the girls state tourney. The fan turnout for these games should be really good, especially during the 3rd period of the East vs E.R. or CEC game.

Might want to make it to the semi's before you send a band. I don't think the elk river band would want to come at 10:00 am and play for cloquet

Make sure they hit up Mariucci while they're down there.

The teams under the radar are the ones to look out for.
I never take anything for granted.

Question: Does purchasing a ticket at Amsoil get you both games?
