my mistake roseau will still have 6 not 2.. I just remember 2 I guess... I respect Roseaus tradition no doubt about it... I just think its bogus for people to come on here and rip Moorhead for having no titles... they will come... it happens sometimes.... just ask the Red Sox... <p></p><i></i>

I agree, Moorhead will have their share of championships. I still believe that they were the best team in the state last year--can't believe that they let those Angels get 'em. Sometimes the best team doesn't pull out a decent game when the chips are down. I am still stunned that the '78 Rams actually lost in the state tournament to Edina. That Rams team was stacked with future NHLers and division I players. It will be fun to see the match-up in St. Cloud--I can hardly wait! <p></p><i></i>

Well it looks like I was wrong about this one, but its happened before. I will still take Moorhead in sections. As for that elusive title I don't think it will be long. I think 07 will be the year. <p></p><i></i>

Congrats Rams! Great win for the squad! I will be cheering on the Rams in class AA, mainly because I have family and friends in Roseau, and second, their fans always act with class and show respect... and I certainly didn't see that when I went to the TRF game in Moorhead. The game was up for grabs and could have went either way. They chanted overrated to TRF... I mean c'mon... first of all we aren't that highly rated and secondly we are a class lower... give me a break!! Go Rams!! <p></p><i></i>

TRF ProwlerPride is that a repeat post? I seem to remember reading it before. If they were chanting overrated then they were mistaken. I'm sure they were just having fun supporting there team. <p></p><i></i>

its good for the section to have more than one good team in it... I think that has hurt Moorhead at state in recent years... they havent had to work for anything until they actually got to state... this year they will have to work for it... and I think they will be more sharp when Thursday rolls around at the X because of it...Roseau is a good team and deserves respect this year... should be a great game at the NHC.... I guarantee you one thing... there will be lots of orange in that place... GO SPUDS <p></p><i></i>

I have listened to a cast of thousands on this thread rip on Moorhead for not having a title, and time and time again tell us how great Roseau is... yet everyone says its the Spud fans who are all stuck up and think they are better than everyone else... ridiculous... <p></p><i></i>

Just becasue people talk about how good Roseau is or was doesnt mean they are Roseau fans does it. In my mind neither of the fans seem stuck up. I dont know what the argument is. <p></p><i></i>

I think the real issue is and was, would be how Moorhead fans think they are the only team that has a chance in Section 8 from here until eternity! They dismiss the idea that anyone could "de-thrown" them......especially a team like Roseau????<br><br>The spuds have had some good teams, and a great run......I think the battle is starting to turn in Roseau's favor as there will be some excellent Ram teams coming up. There will be some great battles the next several years.<br><br>I don't think Roseau fans think they are superior to Moorhead, they are realistic to know Moorhead is the "new" rival to get to state. Another one who lumps all Moorhead fans into one large group. Everybody who follows Section 8 knows that Roseau and Moorhead will most likely battle it out in St. Cloud on 3/3 for the section title. I'd agree that its unfair and inaccurate to lump all Spuds fans together due to the actions of a few.<br><br>What's more important is that it is completely accurate to lump all Spuds team into one critical category - can't win the big one (some would say "choke," but I won't go there ;-).<br><br> <p></p><i></i>
