Ended up giving him the money, definitely wasn't worth the backlash it provided.

Why? were they just blown away by the impressive job that Bollinger did?
Do they have a plan E ? since A B C and D are out the window.

Just throw the remaining running backs back there and run the wishbone. Our 3rd "drown" conversion would be higher.

Who are these guys in purple, and what have they done with the Vikings?
3:30 left in the 1st half, Vikes up 24-7.

How can it be the same team?
They were emdbarassed in GB and now they stroll into NY without AP and dismantle the Giants.
How can a team be so inconsistent?
It isnt a well put together team offensively. Too many missing parts .
But why didint the game plan include the pressure form the LBs in GB? The minute they go back to it,(remember they started it vs SD) they have success.
The head guy doesn't have it figured out yet does he?

It's December and with a win today the Vikings can be All Square.
Over the last ten years this is the game the Vikings have found a way to lose, whether it's the game to get to the Superbowl, the game to clinch home field throughout the playoffs, the game to clinch the division, or the game to clinch a playoff spot without needing help from Carolina in week 16.
I'd love nothing more than to praise the Vikings tomorrow for having a meaninful month of football coming up but their trend is to let us down. 6-6 isn't great but whether they are good enough or deserve it or not the playoffs in the NFC are reality with 9 wins.

A week after beating up on the adopted Manning, The cowardly lions were sent home with their tail between their legs.

It's December and all is well.
The Lions are losing
The Snow is falling
The Vikings are winning
The BCS is a mess

Hmm, if I weren't so locked up, I'd think of a way to describe the situation.
Have the Vikings turned it around or are they just running into some teams who are struggling?
A bit of both?

I'd say a bit of both. Maybe getting embarrassed in Green Bay was the slap in the head they needed.
I didn't watch a lot of the game on Sunday, but thought Tarvaris looked better than he did earlier in the season. He seems to be using his feet more, taking off when he can't find open receivers. The offensive line also seems to have picked it up a notch.

I think the whole NFC is a pile refuse. The Vikes could make the playoffs this year simply by beating teams who are struggling. If you look at their last four games, who in there hasn't underachieved or struggled this year.
SF: 3 win season going
CHI: 5-7
WASH: 5-7 plus this whole off the field tragedy
DEN: 5-7 lost to OAK yesterday
This season is looking like the Anti-Tice years, however their final record will be the same, 8-9 wins most likely.

Maybe the GB game woke them up or maybe they would get beat by 30 again if they played them next week.
Maybe, #84 will replace Troy Williamson for good and we can be done with that mistake.
Maybe, I saw for the first time yesterday what the Vikings see in #7.
Maybe #18 is the #1 WR they have not had since Moss.
Maybe the Oline has finally figured it out and will continue to play up to its talent level.
Maybe the D coordinator has finally fgure out that putting pressure on the QB is important and that you have to bring people to do that .
I mean, I am just sayin..."maybe".

Maybe I have some fun ideas for a new thread or 2 and maybe I am sick of having them locked out so maybe it isnt worth the effort .......or, maybe not.
