The major media around here checks with this website before doing anything and then they plagerize us.

No reason to read the sports page, we will have it here first.

The Carlos Gomez experiment is one thing I'll be watching. Extremely fast and maybe not so bright, if he hits a gapper I'll try to hold back a "Run Forrest, Run!"

I picked up my copy of the 2008 Twins Yearbook yesterday, and it has yet another CarGo gem in it (for those of you unaware of his previous brilliance, see the first two posts here).

He's asked what his favorite holiday is... He says it's his birthday.

This guy is GOLD!!! Long live Gomez!

Its like we've always said " CarGo is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get"

So far, so good...Twins up 1-0 after 1st. CarGo with a hit and run scored, Mauer with a RBI, and Hernandez has looked good  Might as well dust off those Homer Hankies...you're gonna need them come October :!:

Call me crazy, but with CarGo batting .667 and on pace for 324 stolen bases, I think the team may really have a chance to do some damage.

Kool-Aid Schmool-Aid.

The Punchless Judies are at it again.

Homerless Streak = 70 AB's and climbing

Balls are flying out of parks all over the country and some from the 1st base dugout within the dome. The Marlins and their $15 million payroll have already hit 4.

Call in Leonard Nimoy to cut an episode of "In Search Of" Minnesota Power.

And it isn't even so much tha lack of HRs but they dont even hit anything hard into the gap.

The Angels have only hit one HR but they hit gappers for run scoring doubles and stuff like that.

Punchless and pathetic. Lets go.

Exactly, tis the root of my frustration in the bottom of the first with Morneau and Cuddyer on Monday night.

Man in scoring postion, a run already in, ahead on the count 2-0 and the big boys don't even get good swings. They ain't rookies either.

Interesting article here from mlb.com.

http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/news/articl ... p&c_id=chc

For the hundreth anniversary season of a Cubs World Series title a movement is brewing in the bleachers of Wrigley Field that is chillingly similar to one that had its genesis right here.

I thought we'd be seeing a slew of 9-8 ballgames this year, did they leave the bats down in Florida?

Morneau's 0 for the season right now, his bad spring is carrying over into the season. And Booof had the worst start of the season so far, these are guys that we're expecting to perform and they're not doing it yet.

KC swept the Tigers and gave up one run in two games. The Twins will likely face the Royals 3 through 5 starters, so they might finally be able to put up some runs this weekend.
