I've had a feeling for a while that Woodbury is going to win the whole thing this year. Good job.eastside hockey wrote:smw1111 must be beside himself trying to figure out how to explain that Cretin got jobbed by the REFS and Woodbury once again didn't deserve to win.bender0905 wrote:3AA

Jefferson/Edina could sell out, but not Jefferson/HA.
I'm sure you're right that Edina will attract more 40+ fans because of what you stated. I'm also guessing that most fans won't be 40+ and that the more recent ones consider Holy Angels a bigger rival because of certain coaches who've been a part of both programs, the two cities (Bloomington and Richfield) being next to each other, students in Bloomington going to both schools, etc, etc.
And no, neither game will bring 30,000 fans...the AA state tourney doesn't even do that.
Well I know that it will draw bigger crowds than any T- Pups game this season.DmanDad1980 wrote:Huh...HShockeywatcher wrote:While I respect your opinion, I'm not here to argue, so I won't.JagsHockey86 wrote: Back in the 80's when I went to Jefferson, Edina was our rival (and Kennedy and Burnsville and....) One to remember it was awesome. Makes for some good section finals as well...karl(east) wrote:20,000 views on the scores thread today (not to mention the thousand on the other one we had going for a while). Impressive.
To the players, coaches, fans, forum visitors, and broadcasters...thanks for an entertaining Semifinal Saturday!

Holy Crap!! Pleasant surprise here. Tartan might as well skip sections from now on.

I don't know if anybody has mentioned this yet, but Target Center seats 17,500 or so for hockey...not 30,000.HShockeywatcher wrote:And no, neither game will bring 30,000 fans...the AA state tourney doesn't even do that.
Who had the shot for FF? Gervais??deucereppin wrote:Was standing right behind the sartell goal at the game and on the FF penalty shot the puck went in and the goalie put his glove on it and pulled it out. He turned to his teammate right after too and mouthed that it went in.
In 1999 and 2000 the place was the worst for hockey. I watched the state and WCHA playoffs and the boards were so wobbly it was nuts.espnmobile8 wrote:I don't know if anybody has mentioned this yet, but Target Center seats 17,500 or so for hockey...not 30,000.HShockeywatcher wrote:And no, neither game will bring 30,000 fans...the AA state tourney doesn't even do that.
deucereppin wrote:Yes Gervais took the shot and had the goalie beat. It hit the post bounced off his back and rolled over the goal line however the ref couldnt see from his angle. Really unfortunate for FF but this will make for a better title game anyhow.
Do the boys get any practice time at the rink before they play?Zamman wrote:In 1999 and 2000 the place was the worst for hockey.
