Johnson won 4 to 1 over Richfield to win the TC regular season championship with a record of 16 wins 2 losses and 2 ties for a total of 49 points, Highland was sesond with 48 points. Grand Rapids 3-1 over Chaska on Friday night. Rapids had to withstand a 1:22 5 on 3 in the third. Chaska really applied the pressure in the third as well. Final goal was an empty netter with about 16 seconds left in the game. Great game and great pace.<br><br>Grand Rapids 4 - Moorhead 3 Both teams came out flying. Shots were 29 MHD - 20 Rapids. Does Johnson have an automatic seed to Regions for winning the regual season title? How many seeds to Regions does TC get? <p></p><i></i>

TC District has 2 Teams that go to regions. <br>There is NO Automatic bid, from regular season play. <br>The Champion from TC District Playoffs, as well as the 2nd place team go on to regions. <br>The TC District Playoff is a double elimination tourney. Seeds 1 & 2 get a first round bye. <br>Loser of the Champion ship game plays Vs the "Back-door" winner to go to Regions (and win 2nd place) <p></p><i></i>

I think with all the rules out there you would think every District would follow the same format. Like the rest of Minnesota hockey nothing can be agreed upon with themselves or the rest of the country. shooter57, Chaska tied Moorhead 4 - 4. Moorhead was 2-0-2 coming into the game with Grand Rapids. With wins over Virginia, Greenway (sorry did not get scores) and ties with Chaska (4-4) and Hibbing (2-2). Not certain how Moorhead did against Brainerd on Sunday afternoon. <p></p><i></i>

I have heard alot about Johnson having one line but last night game was enjoyable and there was only 2 penalties both against Johnson. Johnson only had two lines. <p></p><i></i>
