To get some sanity back in this forum, Im gonna take a stab and say:
Falls 6
Apollo 4
Alex 4
Fergus 2
I dont think apollo has enough fire power to keep up, but if the goalie gets hot it will be a great game.
Alex has been battle tested the last few games of the season and I think if Alex can score 3 or more goals they will win, I just dont see Hemingway letting anymore past him.

That's why I said it means diddly...
Just another note, Cody Peck is, I believe, only 3 points from tying the season record for points in a season for Fergus Falls. 64 points, a mark set by Greg Buckmeir in 92-93, and tied by Ryan Miller in 99-00 I think. Buckmeir went on to play at Army and Miller at Bemidji State. Miller is also one of the top scorers in State Tourney history.

St. Cloud Apollo will keep it closer than a few goals...and I wouldn't be surprised with an upset......
Fergus Falls v Alexandria:........who's got the straws or dice........close either way, Otters playing sharp, Cardinals playing tough, expect a close, physical and exciting game, ...........timing is right for Lofquist to make a name........

I think that Lofquist will make a name for himself on Saturday night, win or loss. He's been hot lately. The shutout against DL he didn't face many shots and it's very easy for a 'tender to get cold and lose a connection w/ a game, but he stayed in it and stuffed 2 breakaways late against Fr. standout for DL Tanner Lane. He's one of those kids that is consistent. He won't have a 60 save shutout, but also won't give up 3 goals in 3 shots. A big kid that takes up 4/5ths of the net and gives the shooter a very small area to shoot at. He also plays his angles well and will give up no weak goals. I think he's the guy in this section, even more than Hemingway, who has the ability to put a team on his back and take them to the promised land.

I agree with your second point the night game of the 6A doubleheader will be the game to watch and honestly i hope both teams and tenders are on their game. If that happens look for some OT action

HAHA cleansheet your funny. Lofquist the guy over hemingway. Not a chance, I think Hemingway has proven that he is the guy.

Yeah brucey he is a comic Hemmingway is the top tender in this section over the likes of hampton, lofquist and Spearl. Also cleansheet lofquist wouldn't make a name for himself against Alex in a loss maybe in a 1-0 loss to little falls or something.

Well said demon. I think the only way people in this state will ever know who lofquist is, is if they win the section and somehow win a game in state. Id say hes the 4th best in the section.
1. Hemingway
2. Sperl (when he plays like he should)
3. Hampton
4. Lofquist

If they are all playing their best, Sperl is number 4 IMO
1. Hampton/Hemmingway
3. Lofquist
4. Sperl
Obviously no one out there has seen Hampton play like he did against Cathedral and Brainerd. And, let's face it, Hemmingway was drafted in the Futures draft for a reason. Sperl can make some good saves with athleticism, but Lofquist is a better goalie IMO.

When Sperl plays his best and Hampton plays his worst. Hampton is still twice the goalie that he will ever be.

only have seen hampton play a few times...i've seen sperl enough to know that his play cost them the hermantown game last year.....also have seen him allow teams that have no business playing with Small Falls stay in games because of his play...also have seen him play very well this year against Brainerd.....goldy gopher i think you are wrong when you say that hampton is twice the goalie he will ever be.......

haha, I knew I'd get ripped for this. But notice how I never said that Lofquist is the best. I haven't seen hampton play, but numbers-wise he seems like a solid goalie. I haven't been impressed w/ Spearl in the times that I've seen him play this year.
What I was getting at when I said that Lofquist has the opportunity to put a team on his back stems mostly from the confidence that you see the Otters play w/ when he's between the pipes. A perfect example of this comes from the last weekend when they played Mound Westonka and Orono on the road. Those are two teams that are pretty equal, but on Friday, when Lofquist played, they won 7-2, while against Orono they lost 3-1 when Hadland played.
Like I said before he's very very consistent, the D won't be afraid to give up breakaways like when Hadland plays and because of that they'll give up less. When FF played LF this last time Ben Hanowski had 2 or 3 breakaways and Lofquist stuffed him each time. He did get the hattrick, but I believe all three were shots through traffic.
Once again, Lofquist isn't the best in 6a...yet, but that doesn't necessarily mean he can't put a team on his back. Was Jim Craig better then the Soviets goalie in 1980? Precisely my point.

What exactly is that the definition of?
I guess I'll throw out my predictions for the sake of keeping this thread on topic.
Small Falls 5
Apollo 3
Alex 4
Fergus 3 in OT
