Well, St. Cloud killed LPGE 10-1. Once again that still doesn't prove anything. I am looking for Princeton to beat Becker by more than that. It is a shame that those teams are even on the scheldules.
The best game this week should be Hermantown vs Sauk rapids. I belive Hermantown will pull off the win. Sauk Rapids will have the toughest week and will likely go 1-2.
I think Pine City and Denfield will be the only ones to go winless this week.
Princeton will win be 2-0 this week, as will Mora.
And St. Cloud will easily lose to Marshall.

MSHSL site says the game is at 2:30. You might want to verify this by checking with the MAC schedule. I'd hate to be 2.5 hours late for this one!

I'm a 1A kind of guy, but just to answer the game time question between SCC and Marshall... I know Marshall is leaving at 8:15 expecting the JV game to be at 12:15 with Varsity playing at 2 or 2:30 (not quite sure).

As long as I'm here I'll throw out my prediction. Marshall 7 - 3. They've jumped all over team's in the first period lately and SCC will be hard pressed to find an answer to their first line. (Marshall is missing 2 of its top 5 scorers for this one, however)

Pine City 5- Mora -5

Got a chance to get over to Mora tonight for this game, boy did Pine City come out flying early on in the game, jumping up on Mora 5-0 with about 4 minutes to go in the second. Mora bounced back nicely in a nice come from behind effort, getting two late in the second, and 3 in the third to get the tie with Pine City. Pine City could've made it alot worse early on but failed to capitalize on their chances, nice job by the Mustangs to battle back hard. Pine City won't go beaten all the way through this week, and Mora won't go undefeated either.

Yea, I must agree SR is favored, but ya can never be sure what will happen in playoffs, it depends on who comes to play and who comes to win. Also there are still a few weeks left in regular season, so ya never know what could happen as far as injuries...<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)">

Pine City Vs. Princeton

by ptown tigers
What are everyones thoughts on this game. Forwards and Defense I dont think Pine can keep up, but if there goalie gets hot like he was last time things could be close. Plus Voce , a Princeton ALum always gets his team up for a Princeton game. It may be close.
Good Teams Would be Nothin without Good Water.....

Princeton vs. Pine City

by classAhockey
My thoughts on this game go as following:

Defense: Princeton has the upper hand by far on the defensive side. Larsen, Ross, Brown, these kids really make up a tough defensive unit for the Tigers. With Larsen being able to jump up into the play he's an offensive threat as well. Pine City's defense have improved but have yet figured out the varsity level of it.

Goaltending: Pine City wins this category with Samuelson. This kid has played amazing as of late and really impressed alot of people. If he is on his game Princeton will have a tough time finding the twine. Culver or Osmundson, not sure which one is starting but both lack experience, without there powerful defeseman in front of them they are nothign better than a jv goalie. If Pine city can get some quality shots on them, they could produce some goals.

Fowards: I give this one to Princeton as well. 3 pretty solid lines to Pine City's 2. An extremely overrated line in Bacon, England and Schneider, i believe they all have so many points because they get close to 10 every time they play a real real weak team, but you gotta hand it to them they do put the puck away if you give them the opportunities. It will be interesting to see how the first lines compare, last time the Princeton line shut down Pine City's first line of Beglund, Gross and Brant, but this line was a force in the game against Mora, if they come out fast they could create for some opportunities.

Coaching: Pine City gets this category. Dan Voce is a very good coach for this Pine City team. Even though he doesn't have very much to work with he has done a nice job in getting his team prepared to play games and has shown them that hard work will pay off. I don't like Princetons coaching, i don't see their coach as being experienced enough or shall i say he doesn't seem like that kinda guy who knows what he's talking about, i could be wrong, look where he has gotten his team the past couple years, he obviously must be doing something right.

Prediction: I believe it will be close, if Pine City can get some shots on net and Samuelson stays hot, it could be a close game, a huge upset if Pine City could pull it off, but i just don't see it happening against this high powering Princeton Tiger team. Score: 4-1 in favor of Princeton

What happened to Moose Lake?

Moose Lake went to Crosby without their #2, #3 and #4 scorers due to injuries and a game misconduct and started their backup goaltender (though she played well).

With little depth, it's tough to perform well. The kids that played came through when they had to.

Got two of the three back against Chisholm and they won handily 5-0 last night.

Pine 0- Princeton 7

7-0 Princeton wins. Ross has an amazing night getting 4 goals and 1 assist, while getting the pure hatrick. Englund, Bacon and Wilson scored the remainder of the goals.Culver played a really good game in net getting the shutout. This will assures princeton atleast a share of the RRC title, IF we beat a Tough Chisago team on Tuesday it will be ours.

Good Teams Would be Nothin without Good Water.....

Princeton-Pine City

I couldn't make it to this game but i got a chance to listen to it on my way back from the cities tonight. The game actually sounded pretty even with Pine City seeming to get alot more shots than Princeton did but, they way they made it sound Princeton was putting their chances into the net while Pine City didn't. It sounds like Ross really played a good game, it sounded like he was taking the game into his own hands. I was wondering what happened to Gross in the game, they kept saying his name early on in the game but then they didn't say it again till later in the third period, i was just wondering if he got hurt or what happened? They also said that Corey Brant played well for the Dragons but just couldn't find a way to get it in the net. Princeton has sealed the deal, i don't think they have any worries about not capturing the RRC title. Nice job men.

Shots were 33-20 in n favor of princeton. faced a 5 minute major two 3 on 5 and still out shot them scored 2 shorthanded goals. pine city had it moments but once gross got the 10 min checking from behinde things got bad for pine but they are tough wouldnt want see them in the playoffs.

3-3 tie. Both teams looked horrible, but Marshal was missing their top 2 or 3 guys so the outcome could have een very different. SCC scored with .7 seconds left in regulation to send it into overtime.
Good Teams Would be Nothin without Good Water.....
