hey kodiakchew, i see you are at cc..i spent time there,lived at Mathias. you mentioned caf food YUK....iam thinking places to eat.. I enjoyed many panienos(sp)at frasckas' lilltle pizza joint just off campus..is it still there? ...a little cowboy bar just off campus-the best chili ever-cheap...bigtop hamburgers-biggest i ever saw,it would fill a whole plate....of course the best steak house-the three thieves......and the Italian chain,i can't remember,maybe Giovanni's, ah,no.....oh,for seafood ,the best calm chowder-the whale or blue whale, and of course the 5-star gourmet restaurant at the Broadmore,didn't get there to often,to much $$$, had to find a girl friend who's parents were members of Broadmore country club,..... anyway,i can relate to the caf food,the block system,liberal arts,lots of intellectuals there,also-gold camp road,pikes peak, Cheyenne mountain, NORAD,garden of the gods,seven falls, red rocks,trout fishing,horseback riding,Vail,Snowmass,Breckenridge,denver,college days fort collins,boulder,its cool to fly out every other weekend for hockey ,its a beautiful state...lots to see and do,but its not Minnesota...i missed-lakes and water,my friends, family and a host of other things...i know it is hard to be such a long way from home, hang in there though, you will get a great education... <p></p><i></i>

thanks! I'm really happy with where I am. But you are right, I miss the lakes. Rastall, the cafateria is the worst. I get Blackjack pizza a lot, along with paninos, pita pit, carrabas, outback, and Michele's for some great ice cream. Yeah, I have golfed the broadmoore, I think I flew every green by about 25 yards, I was so confused. And you're right about the intellectuals, or the pot-heads that think they are intellectuals. It's all good, but I have never seen more white people with dreadlocks in my life. And these people that always walk around bare foot and carry their sandles. I laugh at most of the people that go here. It is really different to say the least. But yes, I enjoy it and I know I'm getting a great education and having a great time! <p>AHA 2002 & 2005 State Champions!<br></p><i></i>
