1st ever BB computer rankings

A purely objective ranking of BB teams based on scores & strength of teams played (think BCS). 5 point differential ~= 1 goal. If I don't have at least 3 scores for your team, you're not eligible (thus the exlusion of many out-state teams). Argue if you wanna...
Rank Strength Team
1 86.74 Edina B1 White
2 83.62 Blaine B1
3 81.88 Wayzata B1 Blue
4 79.76 Blake
5 79.36 White Bear Lake B1 Orange
6 77.30 Edina B1 Green
7 75.83 Burnsville B1
8 75.56 Eden Prairie B1 Red
9 74.37 Eden Prairie B1 Black
10 73.82 Chaska B1
11 72.42 Elk River B1
12 71.38 White Bear Lake B1 Black
13 71.25 Woodbury B1
14 71.10 Centennial B1 Red
15 69.35 Lakeville South
16 69.22 Jefferson B1
17 68.68 Minnetonka B1
18 67.63 Stillwater B1
19 67.52 Maple Grove B1
20 65.27 Duluth East B1
Sorry, I can't figure out how to make the spacing work so it's a bit crowded.

Cents,
U might have missed the results from a few tournaments, but u took results from the moose, WBL Orange beat EP Black, and Orange doesn't jump ahead of EP Black? (and after Black lost 3 straight)

I love how you set it up "BCS style".

Roseville just beat White Bear Orange 1-0 in a district game. Roseville was saved by their goalie who had an unbelievable game.

Roseville only won because of their great goaltending and they got one lucky goal that was off of the third rebound whit ebear had a bad game

Well, bad games happen and there has to be upset, you seem pretty sour about your loss

Edina Green? uh...no. Try Blaine (who, on pioneer's rankings is #2 and that looks very accurate). Edina Green is lucky to even be top 5 in D6. Definitely not top 5 in state.

Blaine 4 Blake 1
Lost to Edina White 3-2
Tied EP Red
There not overly impressive but I think they are better than Edina Green.

These may be a little better. Edina Green is overrated. Centennial Red is definitely overrated, I dont get how they are rating them so high. They were no good two years ago, and they certainly aren't much better. Jefferson should be higher, but at least they are ranked unlike Lets Play Hockey. I think Stillwater is overrated, but does anyone know how they did against WBL Black? Other than that, these look like pretty good rankings.

they tied the game 3-3. the goaltending on both teams was very sloppy. stillwaters goalie had 7 shots and let in 3 goals, ill let you do the math. and wbl black's goalie just wasnt seeing the puck at all. it seemed to be a slow pace game especially for white bear. but white bear was lucky to come away with a tie!!!

also is white bear would have came out and skated like they did in the moose, they would have walked all over stillwater. stillwater is WAY over rated!

EP RED is over ranked. Blaine should be higher. That is the only top 10 team Red has played and they tied. Blaine controlled the game out shooting them 2 to 1.

Totally agree. New to this site but love Hockey, try to make it to a ton of both B and A games. Blaine looked really good when they played EP red. Dominated and controlled the puck 75% of the time. Does not look like EP red has played anybody else? From the past post's looks like Eagle guy is the EP man? How come Black has played all the good teams?

Black has played all the "good teams" because the coaches at this level know EagleGuy. He is a great coach who will put together a quality club.
In the past EP only had 1 bantam B1 team. EP Red is new to the scene and doens't have the reputation (and following!) that EagleGuy has.

Holy blush job, Batman!

Thanks for the vote, Blue.
True that Black scrimmages were a little different than Red because I've been around Bantam B for a couple years. The Red coaches are a good group that have followed their kids up the ladder. I did help them with some scrimmages early on, so they got many of the same teams we did - Roseville, Cent. Red - but they are not dummies who need their hand held. They got Blaine and we got WBL Black. Both good teams.
I love how everyone is overrated. Like I told someone the other day, there is no No. 1, there are about 8 teams tied for positions 2-5 and another big group after that. That's a part of what makes this year so interesting. The debates rage on because teams are so close and can beat each other on consecutive nights. No one walks into a rink "knowing" they are going to beat everyone else.
Enjoy the shows!

Red has all first years but are most the same kids that they played with last year in peewee A.
