Completely true: champlin park has nobody, meaning no offense or defense.

Chad Herzog, Jr, F, 10-17-27
Brett Meyers, Jr, F, 13-9-22
Corey Grandner, Jr, F, 8-14-22

no offense?

Other than those 3, no one on that team is in double digits.

According to maxpreps these guys scored 31 of their teams 49 goals (63%). As well as 71 of their teams 112 points (also 63%)

I think you can shut down these three, its gonna be a bad night for the Rebels, they're the only three players to have points in the first matchup against Elk River.

The Cheese says Rebs 3 and AHE 2 in OT.

Champlin gets goals from Stock, Witte, & Moore.

AHE goals come from Joel Otto and Paul Martin.

Big game for Koch in the nets

Elk river will come out on top because champlin park will be out coached. Champlin park's head coach has to be the worst in the conference and if not one of the worst in the state of minnesota.

Wow, strong words about the coach. You must have been cut by him in the past.

No, but i know that over the past couple years champlin park's teams have not improved as the year has gone on. They alway peak at about the third game of their season.

So the fact that they have won more games this year as opposed to last year is not improving? How do you figure?

[quote="TopCheese"]Yup, Armstrong, Wayzata, The Schwanns Cup, John Marshall. Your right.

Armstrong: Loss
Wayzata: Loss

The Schwanns cup-bronze divison
Minnetonka: Loss
Prior Lake: Weak win
Orono: Weak win

John Marshall: Weak win

And your point is?

Whoever said Jeager was no good must have never seen him play, the kid is a stud. Champlin has a solid first line that can bury the puck. A defense that is full of injuries. And a solid coach who makes some disagreeable decisions, but not that bad, watch for Champlin to come out fired up and Jaeger to play out of his mind between the pipes.

Saturday's game is going to be very interesting. I know champlin park will get themselves up this game, but I don't see how a team that can lose to coon rapids twice and osseo last night 6-2 could possibly defeat elk river. Champlin park can look forward to having the puck down in their zone for a majority of the game. Hopefully Jaeger comes out with his A game.

Alright Solid first line, True its solid.

Jaeger a STUD, come on now, the kids a average goalie in the state of minnesota. Hes played some very good games and some poor games. He did play really well against the Elks last game with 33 saves in a 3-2 loss. But STUD a STUD doesnt have a 3.0 GAA and a .891 save % thats not a Stud goalie. And doent give me he faces 30 shots a game bs save % dont lie.

Finkel is Einhorn, Einhorn is Finkel......

Jaeger is a very solid goaltender. Stud.. Not yet, but you have to look at all the factors. Defense is riddled with injuries and gets little to no help at times. He will make the 1st save, 2nd save 90% of the time but it is the 3rd and 4th shot that is getting burried. Not making excuses, just stating the facts.

Everyone keeps talking about Champlin Park's solid top line, but I just don't see it. What makes them a solid line? Their numbers can't even compete with rest of the top lines in the state. This line people talk about is a line of small, weak guys who run around way too much. Most of their goals are not something nicely set up, but fluke like.

For me a top line is a line that scores. The Meyers, Grandner, Herzog line has scored 32 goals out of 51. (63%) They have a combinded for 42 apples out of 56 ( 75%) and have accumulated 74 points out of 107 (69%)
They as a line are averging 3.7 points per game.
Based on those stats, I would say they are a very solid 1st line that are all juniors and will exceed those numbers next year as seniors.

Fluke like? Last time I checked a fluke goal still counts on the scoreboard. And TopCheese may I ask who you are? You sound like you play for Champlin knowing so much about their first line, and JV kids.

Who the heck is Einhorn? Im just a fan of the nwsc and northern hockey. To be honost i think that if this Stud you speak of is giving up third and fourth oppurtunitys he is doing something wrong. ever herd of controlling rebounds? And dont tell me i dont know anything about goaltending because that was my position.
