Think they'll have that many in the 11 oclock?
Roseau will have 95% of the fans cheering for them, however many...

I agree with that statement.

Their whole town will be there is what your'e saying. Woodbury will bring their crew too but nobody beats Roseau Ram fans when they go to the state tourney.

17,000 would drain more then roseau.... 3000 would clearout the whole city.

zoltar and the kitty what could be better (except the former producer)

Roseau will win this one 4-1. I don't want to be overconfident, and I've heard nothing about Woodbury this year. As we've seen in the Sectionals, anything can happen, but I see Roseau in the 'semis' against Hill Murray.

200 Rams fans + 16,800 Citiots = 17,000. Witto Roseau ALWAYS is the fan favorite.

Except in cases of first time entrants.

This tourny is wide open. I wouldn't be surprised to see any of the 8 win it all. That being said, I never predict against Roseau.
Roseau 4
Woodbury 3

I think ROS wins...but they need to stabilize the brain juice to do so.

ROS went from being and underdog v. the Moorhead SPUDS, to being a favorite v. Woodbury

Woodbury was an underdog...and maybe still are, but I am sure they believe they can win. And well...they could.

FUN STUFF

Very good. You get today's gold star.

I'll say 800 Roseau County fans (gotta remember Warroad is there too!) + 16,100 Citiots + 100 Scouts (wondering how Lee has a .56 GAA and 97.6% Save % = 17,000

If Roseau keeps up their play defensively like against Moorhead, they're a tough team! Good luck to both teams. Congrats to Woodbury, is it really their first entry at state??

Im not underestimating woodburry because if you make it to the state tournament that means you are playing great hokcey. Alot of teams dig deep and pick it up around tournament time. But Roseau has alot of talent and if they come out fireing LOOK OUT! Most of these kids played here last year and know they have something to prove.

Amazing Woodbury in tourney. Thier program must be super deep as here is just a few players that went all the way through Bantams in woodbury.

Zepeda and Checka at Hill
Pryor at NDTP Ann Arbor
Bangs Cretin??? May have graduated last year.

Tartan only cut around 3-4 kids total from JV the years they went to state... Get the right guys and make it happen!

I think Woodbury needs to play with composure!

Woodbury upset

3-2

Rams defense with the way they are playing, especially the big # 24 Sam Carr and Ness, will stymie the Woodbury team. Rams will not overlook any team at this year at state. A good portion of this year's team played in last year's state tourney, so they know whats its all about. The town of Roseau will close down this weekend to cheer on their exciting Rams.
Got to go with the Rams here.

Roseau 5
Woodbury 0

Go Rams

this is a no brainer and if you pick woodbury in this one you have no brain. 5-0 rams.

Saw Woodbury beat Cretin. Two things in particular are going to make it very difficult for them to beat Roseau. Their goaltending is average. Woodbury's goalie did make a good play on the penalty shot, but he gave up a lot of rebounds. Woodbury's defense seems a step slow. They are good enough to pull the upset, but they will have a much more difficult time with Roseau then they had with Cretin.

Lee stands tall.
I think Lee will be on the bench for this game. Roseau will play Bjerk first and then Lee.
If that's the case I say...

Roseau 4

Woodbury 3

My sources have told me they're sticking with Lee unless they lose the first, then Bjerk plays. I understand the importance of a Senior playing, but you still have to go with who's hot.
